??Demi Lovato? And ?Wilmer Valderrama Breakup: Lovato Is ‘Bettering’ Herself In The Gym And Recording Studio

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama’s sudden breakup still has people pretty shocked. After a six-year relationship, Lovato announced that the two had parted ways, which was a mutual decision, and they will continue to be friends. This was all detailed in a joint statement released last Friday, by Lovato and Valderrama.

“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship. This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years. With only love, Wilmer & Demi (sic).”

But Demi Lovato has continued living her life. In fact, it now looks like she is going to be regularly attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, the gym, and even heading to the recording studio, according to Daily Mail. A singer heading to the studio directly after a breakup is certainly no surprise, so fans can probably expect to hear some songs about love and heartbreak on her next project — if she even plans on putting any of this material on an album. Demi could just be in the studio, making music as an act of therapy, which plenty of artists do.

“And that’s pretty much my life. And I love it,” Lovato told reporters during a conference call. “My life now consists of doing things that are bettering, that are going to better myself.”

Wilmer Valderrama and Lovato first began dating in 2010, after Wilmer gave Demi his full support during her personal struggles with recovery and depression. People were caught off guard and shocked when the two finally went public with their relationship, no longer afraid to post all of the cute selfies on social media. Demi even gained a real appreciation and preference for Latino men, due to her relationship with Valderrama. These seem to be the last public statements made about her relationship before the news of the split hit the internet.

Demi Lovato also has the Future Now Tour with Nick Jonas to keep her occupied. The Future Now Tour is going to begin June 24, 2016, in Sunrise, Florida, going all across America during the summer, and will end in Los Angeles on September 17.
