Will Taylor Swift Revert Back To Her Old Style After Calvin Harris Split?

Taylor Swift has been changing up her personal style ever since the release of her 2014 album, 1989. The singer swapped out her floral print retro dresses, ponytails, and oxford shoes for crop tops, skater skirts, and sky-high heels. She even cut her hair shorter and shorter, but the one thing that never changed was Taylor’s love of red lipstick.

Swift, 26, even addressed her signature red lip and short skirts in her hit song, “Style.” But when Swift started dating DJ Calvin Harris in March 2015 is when her personal style started to evolve again. Swift started playing up with her long bob and even wore a revealing white jumpsuit when the couple attended the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

In fact, Taylor started to wear a lot more revealing numbers since dating the hot Scottish producer and chart topper. She ditched her skater skirts and handbags for jumpsuits, leather pants, plunging necklines, and metallic dresses. Taylor even swapped out her signature red lipstick for burgundy, pink, and nude shades.

Then, at the Grammy Awards in February, she wore an orange Versace bandeau top with a high-waisted hot pink skirt that showed off her undergarments. Swift opted for an even sexier look at the Vanity Fair Oscar party by wearing a black gown with both a plunging neckline and a high slit designed by Alexandre Vauthier.

That was the start of the singer’s plunge into black monochromatic looks. Since so many people compared Taylor’s long bob to Vogue editor Anna Wintour, she decided to change it up once more. She had her hair chopped off even shorter and had it bleached.

Captioning the following photo, “Bleachella,” Swift debuted her new grunge rock look at the 2016 Coachella Arts and Music Festival. She also showed off her new look on the May 2016 cover of Vogue magazine, compliments of Anna Wintour and celebrity designer Mary Alice Haney.

Fans couldn’t get over Taylor Swift’s startling new look. But she took her new style to the streets of New York and the 2016 Met Gala, where she stepped out in a silver cut-out dress and black criss-cross Louis Vuitton heels. She topped her look red carpet grunge look with dark lips and dark nails.

Now it looks like Taylor is reverting back to her old self, as seen this past weekend at a fan’s wedding which she crashed. She looked very much like her 2013 self in the gorgeous pink and gold strapless jacquard dress she wore with vintage heels and her signature red lipstick. Taylor reportedly made the couple a handmade gift and performed a piano version of her hit song “Blank Space.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Swift will revert back to her old style and be her old self again. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton dug up an old interview of hers from June 3, 2011, in which the former country singer gave her style advice to USA Weekend.

“I’ve always had a very girly style, I’ve always liked dresses and that really hasn’t changed much in three years. I love wearing sundresses. I think style is all about taking chances when you feel like it, but sticking to who you know you are.”

Hopefully, she realizes that she doesn’t have to sex up her look in order to keep a man. But it looks like Taylor’s sexier new look has extended into her workout apparel, as she was recently spotted wearing a black strappy Victoria’s Secret sports bra, which sold out immediately online. The singer also revealed that she would like to wear more chokers, but she still has an obsession with “high-waisted” stuff.
