‘Bachelor Stars’ Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Head To Portland, Oregon, Is Wedding Planning On The Docket?
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell fell in love and got engaged this past winter on ABC’s The Bachelor, and they have been a strong team ever since that final rose ceremony. Ben and Lauren are living in Denver, Colorado, together these days, and fans are eager to hear about some wedding plans. What is the latest from these Bachelor lovebirds?
These Bachelor stars have done a lot of traveling since their finale aired, and this past weekend, they were at it again. Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell headed to her hometown of Portland, Oregon, and it looks like they had a blast. Ben and Lauren took part in the Starlight Parade in Portland, greeting fans from a float for Alaska Airlines.
As Bachelor fans know, Lauren worked as a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines before filming her season with Ben, and she is still working with them at least part-time in various capacities. Bushnell had her flight attendant’s uniform on for the parade while Higgins wore a T-shirt representing the company.
While in Portland, Ben and Lauren got in some family bonding with the Bushnells. Higgins has already spent quite a bit of quality time with the family, and it looks like he did some golfing with Lauren’s brothers, Brett and Bryant, while they were in Oregon.
What about wedding planning? Just a few days ago, Bushnell posted a brief Snapchat showing the cover of the wedding planning book created by fellow Bachelor Nation star Desiree Hartsock Siegfried. There have been rumors swirling that Ben and Lauren might be planning to get married as early as this summer, but so far, the duo has only said that they will likely be getting married sooner rather than later and possibly by the end of the year.
Some Bachelor fans wonder if some wedding planning or perhaps an engagement party might be incorporated into this Portland trip. However, so far, Ben and Lauren have shared mostly parade shots and family bonding moments. If they are deep in the process of planning their wedding, they really will not be able to say much until ABC gives the official go-ahead, if indeed the network plans to televise the event. Ben and Lauren have said that they are open to a televised wedding, and while ABC did not cover Desiree and Chris’ wedding, most fans expect that they will pounce on the chance to orchestrate this one should Higgins and Bushnell be ready to tie the knot soon.
In past interviews, Higgins and Bushnell have detailed that they have more traveling on the horizon, but they have also been busy back in Denver working on the house they now share. Lauren has shared plenty of photos and videos via her social media pages showing Ben working on the yard, and she recently shared a shot of the house where she and his mom had made some updates.
There are always tabloid reports swirling about a supposed split on the horizon for Ben and Lauren. So far, however, these Bachelor lovebirds look like they are doing well together and are looking forward to a lifetime of happiness with one another. It may take a bit yet before fans get scoop regarding a wedding date, but there definitely are hints that Higgins and Bushnell are working toward that big event.
As Ben and Lauren settle into life together in Denver, his runner-up, JoJo Fletcher, is looking for love on ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 season. Will JoJo find lasting love with her final rose recipient like what Ben Higgins has found with Lauren Bushnell?
