Calvin Harris Likes Taylor Swift’s Wedding Post — Why They Didn’t Marry

Calvin Harris has stuck to his word about remaining good friends with Taylor Swift following their split.

Taylor Swift, 26, surprised super-fans Max Singer and Kenya Smith by crashing their wedding, showing up with a homemade gift, and performing an acoustic version of her hit song “Blank Space.” Swift took to Instagram to share some of the photos from their wedding. Ex-boyfriend, Harris, who reportedly split from the singer after 15 months of dating, proved to fans that they’re still friends by liking the group of photos of her with the bride and groom.

Last week, Calvin took to Twitter to address their split. He revealed that there’s no animosity between the two.

“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect.”

While Taylor has yet to share her side of the story on their split, she did retweet the same message to her own fans.

So, what gives? Rumors have been swirling that Calvin Harris refused to marry Taylor Swift, so she decided to end their relationship. It was originally believed that the Scottish DJ was the one who called it quits. However, according to a new report via FemaleFirst, Swift had no choice but to walk away from Harris because he wasn’t ready to commit.

“Taylor ended things as she could feel their relationship wasn’t heading in the right direction. She discovered they were on different paths in the last few weeks. It wasn’t that they weren’t happy, but when she raised the subject of their future it became clear they do not want the same thing at the same time.”

It’s obvious that the former lovers will remain good friends and have no bad blood. Harris obviously grew close to Swift’s family and friends, and even her beloved pets. According to the Mirror, Harris never realized how much he would miss Swift’s cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. He notoriously watched her cats and posted adorable videos on Instagram while she was away on her 1989 World Tour. New reports are suggesting that Swift will give Harris visitation rights to her furry friends.

While the pop star attended a fan’s wedding, Calvin had a boy’s night out over the weekend. The Scottish DJ was seen out and about with singer Frank Ocean. Calvin and Frank had dinner at Nobu in Malibu, California. Calvin wore a black long-sleeve T-shirt and gray jeans, while Frank wore a gray sweatshirt and light denim jeans.

This latest outing comes after Harris’ jubilant appearance and feel good Friday night at Las Vegas’ Omnia, where he performed a two-hour set since his car crash on May 20.

“Las Vegas, how you feeling?” the 32-year-old asked the cheering crowd from his booth. “I feel good.”

But according to an E! Online report, there was more going on this past weekend. Calvin was also surrounded by bikini-clad women on Saturday when he performed at the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

He didn’t appear to notice the crowd of beautiful women around him, as he seemed super focused on performing his set. Most of the party goers shared clips of Harris spinning the turntables as the ladies partied around him. Even Wet Republic shared videos of the wet and wild fun on their Instagram page.

He shared the same feel-good sentiments during the pool party. “My name is Calvin Harris. You feelin’ good?”

Sources previously told E! News that Harris and Swift lost the spark they once had and he grew bored of their relationship. However, there was no big fight between the two stars and they are still good friends.

“Taylor and Adam had no big blowout fight, but the romance just was not there anymore for them. Adam is the one that ended it. It was all done in a very mature fashion. Taylor is pretty upset but they are still in communication. Taylor was there for Adam with his accident and supportive.”
