Lamar Odom ‘Doesn’t Know How To Process’ Khloe Kardashian Divorce, Turning To Partying

According to reports, Lamar Odom is struggling to cope since Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce for a second time last month and is supposedly turning to partying and an unhealthy lifestyle to numb his pain.

A new report by Hollywood Life is claiming that Lamar is “partying like its 1999” in the wake of Khloe filing divorce papers in April as he attempts to “keep his mind off Khloe” and their impending divorce.

“He doesn’t know how to process Khloe leaving him and is finding comfort in his shady friends and his hook-up girls,” the site’s insider continued this week, claiming that Odom “can’t believe Khloe did the unthinkable and filed for divorce.”

Reports claiming that Lamar has been turning to partying in recent weeks follows new claims by TMZ alleging that friends are becoming increasingly worried for Odom after they allegedly found crack pipes in his Calabasas home.

According to TMZ, Odom’s inner circle feels as though he’s “been acting very strange lately” causing friends to stage somewhat of an intervention with the former basketball star.

An insider close to Lamar supposedly told the site that a group of friends, not thought to include Khloe Kardashian, “went to his home to convince him to enter rehab” where they “noticed drug paraphernalia” around his home, though Lamar reportedly refused to get help.

Amid reports claiming that Odom is not living a healthy lifestyle in the wake of his 2015 medical scare, which saw him hospitalized for several months after an alleged overdose, Hollywood Life previously reported that Lamar was actually planning to win back Khloe by proving to Kardashian that he can get healthy.

“He’s not losing Khloe. He’s got six months to win her back, and that’s exactly what he’s planning to do to get that divorce off the table once and for all,” a Kardashian insider told the site of Odom earlier this month, claiming that Lamar’s big plan to win back Khloe Kardashian involved him “working on himself.”

“He’s really going to work on himself, attempt to stop drinking and clean up his act majorly so she can see him in a better light,” the source said, noting that Lamar’s “not going to do any grand gestures like buy her s***” as Kardashian already has “all the money in the world and can do that herself.”

The source also admitted that, despite Kardashian’s second divorce filing, Lamar doesn’t believe that his and Khloe’s relationship will ever be over for good.

“They’ve got that up and down love, but at the end of the day, they’re always going to be together,” the Kardashian insider confessed to the site. “That’s how Lamar feels about Khloe. In the end, she will be his wife.”

But it sounds like Khloe is well and truly done with her former husband, who Kardashian married following a whirlwind romance in 2009, as a source told People after Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom for a second time that Khloe now knows that she can’t help Lamar if he won’t help himself.

“Khloe cares about Lamar and he’ll always be in her life, but there is only so much you can do for a person,” an insider said. “You can’t help or fix someone who won’t fix themselves. She was loyal for a long time and taking care of him, but she’s not a babysitter and needs to move on with her life.”

“She’s honestly fine and it’s more of a formality at this point,” a source continued of how Khloe feels about filing for divorce. “She’ll always be there for him. But as far as their marriage is concerned, that’s over and has been for quite some time. It was time to make it official,” the Kardashian insider added.
