Lamar Odom Seen With Herbal Viagra As Friends Find Crack Pipes? He May Be Headed To Rehab

Lamar Odom has allegedly been caught with crack pipes, but will he go to rehab?

According to reports, Lamar Odom is headed for yet another downward spiral, and those close to the former NBA star are hoping he will seek treatment for his struggles with substance abuse.

On June 3, TMZ reported news of an alleged confrontation between Lamar Odom and his family and friends, which was reportedly prompted by the discovery of crack pipes in his home. Prior to the meeting, sources close to Odom claimed he had been acting “very strange lately,” and friends were said to be convinced he was “off the wagon.”

“[Lamar Odom’s] history with crack is well-documented — but people close to him thought he’d been scared straight after he overdosed at a Nevada brothel back in October,” the outlet explained.

However, that no longer appears to be the case.

Although Lamar Odom’s family and friends attempted to stage an intervention, he was not receptive to the idea and told them that he doesn’t need any help. In addition, the family and friends reportedly found “crack pipes, baggies and roaches.”

As for why Lamar Odom is so against seeking help, TMZ claimed he believes he’s invincible.

Just one day ago, Lamar Odom caused more concern when he reportedly stepped out in Los Angeles to pick up herbal Viagra, which was one of the drugs he was believed to have been using when he overdosed.

After Lamar Odom began drinking again earlier this year, sources claimed his soon-to-be ex-wife had reached out to her brother-in-law, Kanye West, who was instrumental in Odom’s overdose recovery last year, in hopes of getting him to convince Lamar Odom to go to rehab.

“Khloe doesn’t really know who else to turn to talk some sense into [Lamar Odom]. She’s hoping Kanye will have a few words with him. She knows Kanye can be very convincing,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “Khloe wants Kanye to encourage him to get professional help from an addiction expert, even if that means going to rehab. At this point, Khloe has nothing to lose in having Kanye try and inspire [Lamar Odom] to get the help he needs.”

During a May episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Lamar Odom was seen chatting with Kim Kardashian about how her husband helped him throughout his recovery.

“Kanye’s music helped me so much. That’s when I realized I could start thinking again and things. As for were coming back to me and I could start articulating it,” Lamar Odom explained.

Lamar Odom suffered a drug overdose in October 2015, and for several days, he remained in a coma. Luckily, however, despite reports claiming he was not expected to make it, he eventually woke up and began what ended up being a three-month hospital stay.

As for Lamar Odom’s marriage to Khloe Kardashian, the pair discussed a possible reunion earlier this year as Odom’s recovery continued, but once Odom started drinking, it wasn’t long before Kardashian re-filed their divorce papers.

Also, on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Lamar Odom was seen telling Kardashian and her family that he was praying for a second chance. However, when it comes to his current relationship with Kardashian, there doesn’t appear to be one. While the former pair celebrated Easter together with her family, they haven’t been seen together at all in recent weeks.
