Amber Heard’s Income And Expenses Revealed: Why She’s Seeking $50,000 Monthly For Spousal Support

Amber Heard filed for divorce from soon-to-be ex-husband Johnny Depp last week, and she is seeking $50,000 monthly in spousal support. In return, Depp asked the court to terminate Amber’s request.

On May 27, according to ET Online, Amber Heard filed a document at the Los Angeles Superior Court that details her expenses and income. The document has recently been made public. In it, Amber states that as of May 31, she has made $27,000 from her appearances in Magic Mike XXL and The Cleveland Show. The document also details her monthly expenses, which amounts to $44,000.

According to CNN, some of her monthly expenses are as follows, excluding other smaller expenses:

    • $10,000 for entertainment, vacations, and gifts
    • $10,000 for rent
    • $3,000 for health care costs that are not covered by insurance
    • $2,000 for dining out
    • $10,000 for attorney, agent, PR, and pet supplies
    • $2,000 for groceries

Johnny Depp’s filing of his response to Amber Heard’s restraining order request, which has been granted, states the following.

“Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse. Her current application for a temporary restraining order along with her financial requests appears to be in response to negative media attention she received earlier this week after filing for divorce.”

As Us Magazine reports, Amber Heard made $259,876 (after agent commissions) the past year, which she got from the following projects.

      • $50,000 – Bulgari
      • $120,000 – Tiffany & Co.
      • $65,000 – Magic Mike XXL
      • $45,314 – Paranoia
      • $31,112 – The Danish Girl

The numbers amount to $311,426. However, according to her expenses/income document, Amber only took home $51,461, as she had to pay her agent commissions, and she had other expenses, including medical insurance and auto insurance.

Court documents do not state Johnny Depp’s exact income, but according to the website Celebrity Net Worth, he makes $20 million per film, and his estimated net worth is $400 million. He made $100 million in 2010 alone. Depp has appeared in numerous films, and some of his films have grossed billions worldwide. In fact, his latest film, Alice Through The Looking Glass, was just released in theaters a few days ago.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp do not have a prenuptial agreement, and according to California law, Amber is guaranteed a minimum of half of her combined wealth with Johnny during their 15-month marriage.

According to Suzanne Bracker, a divorce lawyer from Manhattan who is not tied to the divorce case, Amber could walk away with at least $20 million from the divorce, as Page Six reported.

Throughout the divorce drama, Amber Heard has been accused of being a gold digger, but her lawyers defended her and said that “none of her actions are motivated by money.” Amber insists that she had been a victim of psychological and physical abuse for years while she was with Johnny Depp.

According to Amber Heard, she was hit by Johnny Depp with a cell phone and he also used a wine bottle during an altercation. Heard submitted pictures in court that show her bruises around her eye. Johnny Depp’s lawyers, however, are denying Heard’s allegations of physical abuse, according to The Mirror.

Many are coming to Depp’s defense, including Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his children and his former partner of 14 years. In a letter, Paradis said that Depp is a loving person and she doesn’t believe the allegations against him.

“I believe with all my heart that these allegations being made are outrageous. In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years.”
