Ariana Grande Shares Her ‘Dangerous’ Beauty And Fashion Secrets

Ariana Grande is one of the hottest pop stars of the moment. She dropped her new album, Dangerous Woman, which has been burning up the music charts. Now Ariana Grande is inspiring her fans to achieve her dangerous new look.

Ariana Grande’s makeup artist Daniel Chinchilla is revealing some of the singer’s beauty secrets. He’s credited for giving Grande her signature cat eye and glow. Chinchilla took to his Instagram page to share a photo of L’Oreal Paris True Match ($8), which he reportedly uses on Grande’s youthful complexion.

His Instagram post is a screenshot of InStyle magazine naming the foundation as the best “inexpensive foundation.” In the article, Daniel says, “No matter how much you put it on, it still looks natural.”

He also told InStyle how Ariana Grande’s fans can make their makeup last all day long. There’s no doubt that Ari needs this foundation to last when it comes to a day filled with appearances, interviews, meet-and-greets, photo shoots, and performances.

“Skincare is such a major part of a great makeup look. Dehydrated skin equals dry, flakey makeup,” he revealed.

First, Chinchilla will apply a thick moisturizer on Grande’s skin, and then he follows up with a primer. He previously told Allure magazine that he loves using Neutrogena’s Shine Control, which is another affordable product.

“It creates this barrier between skin and makeup and it’ll prevent makeup from entering and disappearing into pores. It allows for the foundation to look much smoother and last way longer.”

But how does Ariana Grande’s skin look so flawless all the time? Daniel reveals that he uses a Beauty Blender to get her look just right.

“I’m obsessed with the Beauty Blender. It doesn’t absorb too much makeup. I like to stipple on the base. Sometimes people swipe and smear foundation over the face, but really, you’re just moving it around and taking it off. Stippling gives instant coverage placed right where you want it.”

Then he finishes her look with a “dusting of translucent powder; it makes your foundation budge-proof. I think the Laura Mercier loose powder is amazing – it’s so light and it doesn’t change your foundation color.”

Grande has been letting her hair down and wearing flirtier styles amidst her new album. She ditched the ponytail for her new videos for “Into You,” “Let Me Love You,” and “Dangerous Woman.” Grande even swapped out her flirty floral dresses for crop tops, slip dresses, and lacy lingerie.

Earlier this year, the 23-year-old teamed up with the U.K. brand Lipsy for an exclusive 25-piece collection, which sold out immediately online and in stores. Ariana’s clothing line included rompers, lace dresses, miniskirts, and crop tops. She told Britain’s OK! Magazine that summer fashion shouldn’t be taken so seriously.

“Feminine, flirty and fun. It doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s all about having fun and looking and feeling great.”

When Grande spoke about the inspiration behind her line, she said she looked to Instagram models as well as the key pieces in her own wardrobe. Grande wanted to create pretty dresses for other women that can be worn from day to night.

“Everyone should have something floral for spring. I love a good crop top and a fun skirt too. And high heels. When you’re petite like me, every inch helps!”

Last month, Ariana Grande shut down online trolls who think her new image is too sexy. One Facebook commenter said she looked like a “wh*re” in her new music video for “Dangerous Woman.” Of course, Ariana wasn’t going to let him have the final say.

“When will people stop being offended by women showing skin/expressing sexuality? Men take their shirts off / express their sexuality on stage, in videos, on Instagram, anywhere they want to… all. the. time. the double standard is so boring and exhausting. With all due respect, I think it’s time you get your head out of your a**. Woman can love their bodies too!!”

This isn’t the first time that Grande had to defend her new sexy style. Last September, she opened up about her new sexy image in a Q&A for V Magazine with her Scream Queens boss, Ryan Murphy. Then Grande revealed in a new interview with Billboard magazine that she will still walk around half-naked with a ponytail when she’s 95 years old.

In addition to her Topsy collaboration, Ariana Grande also launched her debut fragrance and her MAC VIVA La Glam lipstick earlier this year.
