Judge Grants Amber Heard Restraining Order, More Details Of Abuse, Drugs, And Alcohol Revealed About Johnny Depp

More details about Johnny Depp’s alleged abuse of wife Amber Heard are being revealed as a judge has granted Heard a restraining order, requiring Depp to stay away from Heard. There are also claims that alcohol and drug use on Depp’s part are at least partially responsible for his rages, which have left Heard bruised and beaten according to Heard and other sources. For his part, Depp has not commented on the allegations of domestic violence or substance abuse, and as he is touring in support of his latest film, it’s unlikely that he will comment personally any time soon.

With a bruised and swollen face, Amber Heard went to court to ask a judge for a restraining order, as she is reportedly scared of her estranged husband, Johnny Depp, according to the Inquisitr. Heard says that this is not the first time that she has been harmed by Johnny Depp. Heard says that after this latest abuse, Johnny Depp offered Heard money to stay quiet, but she says she couldn’t do it anymore.

TMZ broke the news that Amber Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp because of domestic violence, and that Heard claimed that Johnny Depp had smashed her in the face with her iPhone, leaving her eye and cheek bruised. But Heard claimed that last month, during her birthday party, Depp assaulted her, and it was even worse.

Heard said that Johnny showed up “inebriated and high” in front of her guests, and after they left, Heard and Depp argued, during which time Depp threw a magnum-sized bottle of champagne at the wall, and a wine glass at her. Depp then grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her onto the bed. She also says he grabbed her by the hair and shoved her to the floor.

Heard said she then had not seen Depp for almost a month when they were together last Saturday for the alleged iPhone assault. During that attack, according to Heard, Depp was also impaired. Heard explains that her hair has been pulled often, and Depp also throws and breaks things around the house.

People Magazine is reporting that the information that Amber Heard shared today in court is shocking particularly for fans of Johnny Depp, and that Amber Heard allegedly fears for her life. Court documents say that Johnny Depp had been abusive towards Amber Heard throughout their entire marriage.

The documents say that Amber Heard gave testimony about two recent events in which Heard was reportedly hurt by Depp.

“During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me.”

Laura Wasser, Johnny Depp’s attorney, claims that this is all false, and is just Heard’s way of expediting the divorce, while guaranteeing herself spousal support.

Entertainment Tonight quoted Amber Heard who explained why she got a restraining order now, even though Johnny Depp is currently out of town.

“I live in fear that Johnny will return.”

Heard explained that throughout their relationship, Depp had been verbally and physically abusive towards her, and made a point of humiliating her regularly. She says that any time she questioned his authority, she was threatened with more violence. Heard has also claimed in court documents that Depp has struggled with substance abuse throughout his adulthood.

“Johnny has a long-held and widely-acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse. He has a short fuse,” the petition states. “He is often paranoid and his temper is exceptionally scary for me as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life threatening to me.”

Heard explains that Depp frequently hallucinates and loses touch with reality. And though Laura Wasser says that Depp denies everything, he plans to follow the order of the court.

“He nonetheless has every intention of staying away from Amber and will stipulate to mutual stay-away and personal conduct orders.”
