Brooks Ayers Allowing Cancer Scandal To Make Him A Better Person?

Brooks Ayers told Andy Cohen that he would never see him again after his final interview on Watch What Happens Live. Ayers wasn’t happy about how things had developed on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and he started distancing himself from Vicki Gunvalson and the entire cast after they started questioning his cancer diagnosis. Brooks had been caught lying about his cancer health records that he shared during an interview, but Ayers was accused of lying about having cancer altogether. Rather than setting the record straight, he decided to move out of the state and resettle in Florida.

According to a new tweet, Brooks Ayers is now revealing that he is choosing to become a better person after this cancer scandal rather than a bitter person. He shared a tweet recently that revealed a quote.

“Exactly…. ?#perspective ?#truth,” Brooks Ayers revealed while sharing a quote by Josh Shopp that read, “You either get bitter or you get better. It’s that simple. You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you.”

Ayers could be hinting that the cancer scandal is actually making him a better person because he’s learning from his mistakes. He’s showing that he’s moving on without actually admitting to making any mistakes. Just a few days ago, Brooks also shared another quote, where he used the hashtags #perspective, #truth, #mylifeisgoodnow, and #grateful.

In that tweet, he also shared a quote about people testing him.

“In life, you will realize there is a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you. Some will use you. Some will love you and some will teach you. But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it’s worth it,” read the quote without attribution.

Even though Brooks Ayers has relocated to Florida and hasn’t really had any contact with his former fling, it sounds like Gunvalson has a tough time moving on from him. As fans will see on The Real Housewives of Orange County, she has a hard time letting go and despite saying that she wanted nothing to do with him, she’s spotted calling him on the phone.

“Brooks, it’s Vicki. I believe you. I love you,” Vicki is caught saying on the phone during the season 11 preview for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Fashion & Style.

And it sounds like some of Vicki’s co-stars were worried about her letting go of Brooks Ayers, as Tamra Judge believes that she may have been stalking him after he decided to leave the show. Of course, he had some harsh words for Vicki, as she was starting to turn her back on him and the cancer story. During the reunion special, she even questioned whether Ayers had been lying to her this entire time.

“She told me she stalks him,” Tamra told Vicki’s daughter Briana, who was clearly worried about Gunvalson’s attachment to Brooks Ayers, according to Fashion & Style.

When The Real Housewives of Orange County ended last year, none of her co-stars wanted to film with Vicki thanks to the Brooks’ cancer scandal. Shannon Beador, Meghan King Edmonds, Tamra Judge, and Heather Dubrow really questioned whether they wanted to film with her. Something must have changed in Orange County, as they are all returning to Bravo next month.

What do you think of Brooks Ayers moving on and trying to become a better person? Do you think he faked his cancer?
