‘General Hospital’ Casting News: ‘One Life To Live’ Alum Bree Williamson Has Supposedly Been Cast As Claudette [Spoilers]
The mysterious Claudette is finally making her way to Port Charles. General Hospital had been looking for the perfect actress to step into this upcoming role as Nathan West’s ex-wife, and it looks like they have found her.
According to Daytime Confidential, Bree Williamson will be playing the role of the Frenchwoman that was once married to the Port Charles cop. She is best known for her role as Jessica Buchanan on One Life To Live until the soap ended its run in 2012. The Canadian actress has been keeping busy since then. She had landed a few guest spots on Haven, Deception, Chicago Fire, and True Detective.
Most General Hospital fans, who also watched her on OLTL, are excited to have Bree Williamson back on ABC daytime. She was always a favorite and a well-loved character, but now she is expected to bring a little flair to this brand new role.

Nathan West is engaged to be married to Maxie Jones, so having his ex-wife back in his life will certainly cause some tension in their relationship. Maxie is already snooping around trying to find out more about Claudette, despite her fiancé telling her not to. Will Maxie end up finding her in New York City or will Claudette somehow make her way to Port Charles on her own?
As with any story line on a soap opera, viewers like to speculate on what will happen, and this one is no exception. Social media has been hopping trying to figure out how Claudette fits in with Nathan and Griffin. It is a definite that she was married to Nathan, but is he telling the truth about why they got married? Apparently, she needed a green card, but then he ended up falling in love with her in the process. The cause of their split is still a little sketchy.

Another speculation that Soap Shows posted is that Griffin may have had an affair with Claudette and Nathan caught them together. The new doctor has what looks like a scar from a gunshot, so rumor has it that Nathan may have shot him. However, that doesn’t quite explain why Nathan didn’t recognize him when they met. Of course, maybe Nathan never saw his face and just fired the gun without seeing him.
A big rumor that was floating around among General Hospital viewers was that Griffin Munro could actually be Claudette. Some thought that maybe the soap would make this a transgender story line, but it looks like that is definitely not true. However, Griffin had admitted that he is a priest, so that should make it even more interesting once Claudette arrives.
There is no official word yet from the General Hospital execs about Bree Williamson joining the daytime drama or any kind of start date. She will be reuniting with a couple of her former One Life to Live co-stars that are now residing in Port Charles. Michael Easton and Roger Howarth have become a big part of the show
Bree Williamson will make an interesting Claudette. There is no word yet on whether this new role will be just temporary or permanent. Once an official announcement is made by the daytime drama, more details will follow.
