Katy Perry Visits Disneyland Following Split With John Mayer

Katy Perry recently decided to take a trip to Disneyland in order to inject some much-needed cheer into her life following the singer’s split with musician John Mayer. According to US Magazine, the 27-year-old pop star gathered up some of her closest friends and embarked on a journey into what many claim is the “Happiest Place on Earth.”

Perry’s visit to Disneyland took place only days after the singer split with John Mayer, a man who apparently has something a lot of attractive female celebrities want. In order to help ease the pain of their defunct relationship, Perry decided a trip to Disneyland was in order.

Since Perry rolls in style, the singer was spotted with a friend at the members-only restaurant Club 33, an eatery that you may have missed during your visit to the theme park. According to Wikipedia, Club 33 is “officially maintained as a secret feature” of Disneyland, so most people aren’t even aware that it exists. Perry, on the other hand, was eager to snag a table.

“Why, yes! WE will dine with you, Walt!” Perry wrote in a post on Twitter.

Celebuzz reports that ex-boyfriend Mayer mended his own broken heart by hanging out at Mondrian’s SkyBar in West Hollywood over the weekend. The singer was reportedly there to celebrate The Office alumnus Mindy Kaling’s new sitcom, The Mindy Project. Also in attendance were B.J. Novak, Ali Larter, and Hilary Duff.

Surprised that Katy Perry and John Mayer were an item? Don’t be, as their relationship was over shortly after it had started. Rumors began to fly in June after the pair were spotted hanging out at Soho House in Los Angeles. A few weeks later, the fling is already said and done. Such is the life of the young, rich, and musical.

Fortunately for Katy Perry, she was able to forget about the break-up for a moment by hanging out with Mickey Mouse and friends in Disneyland. To see photos from the singer’s adventure, stop by the US Magazine website.
