Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber: She’s Concerned He’s ‘Pushing Himself Too Hard’

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may not be dating at the moment, but according to reports, the former couple continue to stay in close contact with one another.

While Bieber has been romantically linked to several other women since his relationship with Gomez came to an end years ago, he and Gomez seem to always end up back together, and according to a new report, Gomez still cares deeply for Bieber and after seeing him go off on a rant against awards shows after Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, a source claims she is “concerned.”

“Selena isn’t quite sure what happened to Justin during the Billboard Music Awards, but she is concerned. She’s worried that maybe he’s pushing himself too hard and is glad that he has a bit of a break now,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life on May 23.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were recently in contact, and at the time, Bieber appeared quite healthy. However, after embarking on his world tour, things appear to have taken a turn for the worse.

“He seemed fine the last time they communicated, but Selena knows he can be hard on himself. She’s not angry at him, she feels for him and hopes he’s surrounded by supportive friends right now,” the source added.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber haven’t been spotted together since she attended his Purpose Tour show in Los Angeles, but they were rumored to have had plans to reunite during Gomez’s Revival Tour show last night.

“Despite their crazy schedules, Justin is still eager to watch Selena perform. They will both be in Toronto at around the same time. Justin would give anything to surprise Selena in Toronto or in his hometown of London, Ontario where she’s set to perform May 23,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life last week. “Justin has two shows in Toronto this week and then he’s off for a couple of days. He’s going to do whatever he can to make it happen and show her his support.”

Although Bieber reportedly planned to attend Monday night’s show, it doesn’t appear that he went through with the plan. As of Sunday night, Bieber was in Los Angeles to attend the Billboard Music Awards, and while it is certainly possible that he traveled to Canada after the show, there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of the theory at this point.

If Bieber did end up attending Gomez’s show, another source said she would have welcomed the idea.

“Selena would love for Justin to come to one of her Canadian shows. Why not? It would be a hoot for her. They are still friends and text on and off. She would surely welcome his visit,” an insider told Hollywood Life days after Bieber’s alleged plan was revealed. “It gets lonely on the road so seeing a familiar face is always a pick-me-up.”

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been on and off since their 2012 split, but despite being flirty with one another on Instagram earlier this year, a reunion doesn’t seem to be in the works. While Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber remain in contact, their schedules are quite busy at the moment. In addition to their ongoing tours, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber continue to juggle their many other responsibilities, including Gomez’s upcoming television project with Lifetime.
