The Bachelorette spoilers indicate a big season for Jordan Rodgers, who has the potential to both advance far in this year’s competition and to become one of the biggest villains in recent memory.

The latest installment in the ABC reality show starts this week, with former Bachelor runner-up JoJo Fletcher making her pick from close to two dozen potential suitors. Though the season is just getting started, there are already rumors that there will be plenty of drama from The Bachelorette this year.

Some of the biggest speculation this year is regarding potential suitor Jordan Rodgers. For viewers wondering why the name sounds familiar, it’s because Jordan is the brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

His appearance is already generating plenty of attention beyond Bachelorette circles, including coverage from Pro Football Talk recalling his previous 15 minutes of fame jumping into a spat between Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.

“When last we heard from Jordan Rodgers, failed NFL quarterback and brother of Packers all-time great Aaron, Jordan was choosing sides between his brother and Russell Wilson regarding the whole God-gives-a-crap-about-football debate. When we next hear from Jordan Rodgers, he’ll be the subject of the choosing.”

But there are potential spoilers indicating that Jordan Rodgers has his eye on even bigger fame and could be using The Bachelorette and his relationship with JoJo Fletcher as a catapult to bigger things. Reality Steve, the blogger who shares inside information about the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise and is rarely wrong, predicts that Rodgers will have a deep run this season — all the way to the final rose. But there is likely no wedding in the future for JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers.

Steve indicated that Jordan is a bit of a player and actually had a girlfriend when he left for filming. In fact, Jordan even stayed with the woman the night before he left to start filming for The Bachelorette.

Jordan Rodgers reportedly told the girl that he would be back together with her once his Bachelorette run was over, but he seems to have broken that promise and instead has bigger plans. Reality Steve indicated that Jordan is actually JoJo Fletcher’s pick this year, but that it’s likely to backfire in the form of some bad publicity.

“…But just after hearing all this stuff about Jordan, I hope JoJo has developed some thick skin because she’s gonna have to put up with a s*** ton of tabloid coverage blasting this guy in the next few months. I’m sure she’ll stand by him and choose to believe the stories aren’t true, but really? You think every single one of these girls is just gonna be making stuff up about the guy? Horrible way to start a relationship. Like I said, be careful JoJo. You’re in for one bumpy ride.”

This may be Jordan’s plan all along. Reality Steve wrote that “if there were EVER a guy who absolutely is there for career advancement, it’s Jordan Rodgers.” But JoJo may be in on it too, with reports that she and Jordan were talking to each other before the filming even started.

The Bachelorette 2016 spoilers regarding Jordan Rodgers are anything but a secret. Aside from Reality Steve‘s coverage, the much more mainstream Pro Football Talk noted Jordan’s previous relationship with JoJo Fletcher.

If The Bachelorette 2016 spoilers are true, then Jordan Rodgers could end up as one of the franchise’s biggest villains. The show’s fans don’t take too well to contestants who are there to further their own careers, with the most recent example being Juan Pablo Galavis. The Bachelor centerpiece was dogged by reports that he hoped to use his season to kick off a reality television career, but instead his ulterior motives turned him into a pariah whose career didn’t extend much beyond the end of his season.
