Ellen DeGeneres And Portia De Rossi Not Planning On Using Surrogate To Have A Baby

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have denied reports that they are trying to have a baby by using a surrogate.

A publicist for the couple shot down the reports, WonderWall reported. The internet had initially been buzzing with reports that they planned to use a surrogate mother for a child and would use de Rossi’s eggs.

The publicist went a step further, saying that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi don’t actually plan on having any children at all right now.Probably not what fans of the couple want to hear, as they would likely both make great parents, but it’s their decision to make.

It might just be too busy a time for the couple. Aside from her popular daytime television talk show, Ellen DeGeneres is rumored to be in talks to work on Finding Nemo 2. Though there are few details about the movie yet and it is still in the early production phase, but the sequel would likely be a blockbuster on name alone.

Portia de Rossi is keeping busy herself. This month she joined the cast of Arrested Development in filming its fourth season, back by popular demand. She will get a chance for even more screentime when the once-canceled Fox sitcom makes its big screen debut.

And when they’re not working on television and film projects, Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi are playing the real estate investment game. The Daily Mail reported that the couple recently bought a Malibu beach home from Brad Pitt for $12 million, and then six months later sold it for $13 million to cosmestics mogul Victoria Jackson.
