Top Model Bella Hadid Would Like To Be An Actress One Day
Bella Hadid has been one of the many up-and-coming models and “It” girls who has been making her mark in the fashion industry. Now the 19-year-old has revealed that she wants to try her hand at acting, for a change.
It sounds like Bella Hadid is having some of the Cannes fever. Amid attending the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, the hot model admitted that she would like to get into acting when she’s “100 percent” committed. Hadid revealed to Elle that she wants to start on her new career when she’s not busying walking various runways around the world, of course.
“I would like to act, eventually. But I don’t want to do half-and-half. When I’m working for something, I’m very focused, and I put in a lot of hard work and a lot of training. I want to give 100% to modeling for as long as it takes, and then when I feel that it’s time to move on, I’d very much like to try acting. And I think I would like to be an actress?or at least.”
“I’d like to see if I’m any good,” she added.
Bella has kind of tried her hand at acting before. She played her boyfriend The Weeknd’s love interest in his music video for “In the Night.” Check out some of her acting chops in the video below and let us know if you think she would make a good actress.
During her interview with Elle, Hadid revealed that her busy modeling schedule has kept her working “non-stop” for the past few weeks. In case you didn’t know, the brunette beauty has been featured in Fashion Week shows across the globe. Earlier this week, Hadid caused social media outcry when she walked for the Misha Collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
“I’ve been traveling a lot more… I’ve been really working non-stop. I was in Paris for a job when the [Elle magazine] issue came out; I was in New York; I was home [in Los Angeles] for like a second… [And] I was just in Cannes.”
She was reportedly paid $400,000 to walk during the fashion show in Sydney on Monday, May 16. According to The Metro, Bella, who already earns a whopping $16,000 per hour, was also rumored to have acted like a “super brat” behind the scenes.
According to the Daily Telegraph, she complained about her hotel reservations and asked to be moved to another one that wasn’t disrupted by the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon. Bella had her and her entourage move down to The Old Clare hotel, which she reportedly dropped “a cool $1,000 per night.”
Bella Hadid made headlines when she arrived to the French Riviera this week where she was probably bit by the acting bug even more so than usual. The striking model made her red carpet debut at the premiere of The Unknown Girl in a slinky red Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown. Hadid also competed for the spotlight with fellow models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who also wore a bold red gown, and Alessandra Ambrosio, who opted for a white sparkly evening gown complete with cutouts.
According to the Daily Mail, Bella Hadid stole Rita Ora’s red carpet look. The British pop star rocked a similar look to the 2014 MTV VMAs. Though the two dresses sure look similar in styling, they are not identical as the necklines are slightly different since Rita’s featured spaghetti straps while Bella’s had a strappy halter neck.
Hadid’s dress also had a belted styling, while Ora’s look had a faux wrap. The sexy women also chose two different designers to create their red hot looks. Ora opted for classic American designer Donna Karen for her look.
