Ryan Gosling And Eva Mendes Secretly Married? Seems Like Something The Reclusive Couple Would Do

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have always kept their relationship top secret. However, with their relationship stronger than ever, are the two secretly planning a wedding?

An inside source explained to OK! Magazine that Mendes is currently planning her wedding. The actress is planning on an exclusive ceremony that will go down in her back yard.

“This will be a low-key affair, much like Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s nuptials that were essentially a glorified garden party,” the source told the outlet.

Apparently, Mendes is the driving force behind the wedding and wants to become a wife as soon as possible. “Eva’s taken the bull by the horns, she’s told Ryan this is what needs to happen, and he’s going along with it,” the insider added. “Eva wants him tied down.”

The Nice Guys star and Mendes have a long history together. In fact, the couple has already had two children together, including their newest addition, a daughter, born last month.

According to Bustle, nobody in the media knew that Gosling and Mendes were even expecting a second child. Not only did the news evade the media, but nobody found out about the birth until some two weeks after the fact.

Considering how hard it is for celebrities to move around unnoticed, Gosling and Mendes’ ability to keep things under wraps is truly impressive.

Now that Mendes and Gosling have two kids together, fans are starting to wonder if they are secretly planning a wedding. After all, given their reclusive nature, it is entirely possible that some nuptials could be in store fairly soon.

The recent wedding rumors are not the first for Mendes and Gosling.

Back in late 2015, the couple reportedly got engaged. Unless the two actually followed through with their wedding and nobody found out it, Gosling and Mendes are still not married.

The closest thing Mendes has shared on the topic of marriage was when she admitted that sweatpants are the biggest “cause of divorce in America.”

For his part, Gosling has revealed in the past that Mendes is “the person I’m supposed to be with.”

Apart from those comments, the two rarely speak about their relationship. By all outside appearances, they are very comfortable and content with their relationship.

Of course, there’s also the idea that Gosling and Mendes just might not believe in traditional wedding ceremonies. After all, other Hollywood celebrities have followed similar paths and never married.

Even still, the fact that Gosling and Mendes have had another baby together indicates that their relationship is as strong as ever. Whether or not their expanded family leads to a wedding is yet to be seen.

Considering their secretive nature, it will likely take a long time before any wedding news reaches fans.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail is reporting that Gosling and Mendes named their newest daughter Amada Lee. Amanda was Mendes’ grandmother’s name and also her character’s name in We Own the Night.

In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Gosling explained how important he views his family.

“I’m not looking for anything else beyond Eva – and I feel very lucky that we have a beautiful, healthy daughter, who is an angel. That’s investment enough for me.”

According to TMZ, Gosling and Mendes were recently spotted on a lunch date with their first child, Esmeralda. Unfortunately, their newest baby was nowhere in sight, while Mendes continued to hide her belly with a gigantic purse.

So far, no photos of their new baby have surfaced. Given how they like to keep their personal lives a secret, fans will probably have to wait a little while longer before any pictures are revealed.
