Louis Tomlinson Responds To Danielle Campbell’s Topless Photos Being Leaked, Gets Accused Of Staging Pics

Louis Tomlinson recently hinted that he’s not happy about topless photos of his girlfriend, actress Danielle Campbell, being leaked online. However, there’s some speculation that the One Direction singer and the Originals star staged her semi-naked sunbathing pictures.

On Thursday, TMZ shared a series of photos that show Louis Tomlinson and Danielle Campbell relaxing by a pool during their romantic vacation in Mexico. Louis is pictured kneeling down to untie Danielle’s blue-and-white striped bikini top, and she is shown taking it off. Danielle is completely topless in around a dozen of the 99 paparazzi pictures that the website posted, but the intimate poolside snapshots are all censored with tiny black boxes.

As Gossip Cop reports, Louis Tomlinson has expressed his displeasure with the photographer who took the topless photos of Danielle Campbell, which were likely obtained using a camera with a long-range lens. The singer even insinuated that he and Danielle would like to take legal action against the paparazzo, if such a move were possible.

“The privacy laws are f****d up,” Louis tweeted, along with an angry emoji face.

Numerous One Direction fans supported Louis by tweeting their own complaints about the paparazzi invading Danielle Campbell’s privacy, but others accused Louis Tomlinson and Danielle Campbell of staging the topless photos.

“We all know management called the paps over there stop acting,” @larrycooties tweeted.

“They literally were looking at the camera lmao they knew,” @eminemrulzs wrote.

Danielle and Louis do appear to be looking straight at the voyeuristic photographer in many of the pictures, and TMZ‘s Dax and Nicole agree that the couple had to know that they would get photographed during their sunbathing session behind their private villa. In an 11-minute video, the celebrity experts analyze Danielle’s topless photos and come to the same conclusion that many One Direction fans have reached.

“There’s no way they don’t know the camera is there,” Nicole says in the video. She points out that Danielle stays topless after staring straight toward the paparazzo—the actress never panics or tries to cover up while the series of photos are being snapped.

“You see the top going off, you see them look at the camera, and then you see her just sitting there. They sit there for probably a few more minutes at least with no top on.”

Dax agrees that Louis Tomlinson and Danielle Campbell had to know that they would be photographed getting topless, cuddling, and drinking beer beside the pool.

“Everyone knows, when they go down to the beach in Mexico and they do these shots, everyone gets photographed,” Dax says. “They know it going into it.”

Dax and Nicole point out that there are plenty of celebrities who get papped on purpose to stay relevant, and Nicole speculates that Louis Tomlinson may fear that fans are losing interest in him now that he’s no longer touring with One Direction. However, she and Dax don’t go so far as to suggest that Louis or Danielle actually called the paparazzi to tell them where they were staying so that they could take the topless photos.

There’s always a possibility that Danielle and Louis actually didn’t see the paparazzo taking the topless photos, but perhaps they kept staring toward where the photographer was hiding because it was the only place around where someone could conceal themselves.

If he’s using a camera with a long-range lens, a paparazzo doesn’t have to be anywhere near the celebrities he’s trying to photograph. According to the Daily Mail, the infamous topless photos of a sunbathing Kate Middleton were taken from over half a mile away, and she had no idea that she was being photographed. Perhaps the paparazzo who took the photos of Louis Tomlinson and Danielle Campbell was also far enough away that the couple could not see him.
