Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Back Together? Ben ‘Wants Her Back’

Could a reconciliation be in the cards for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner?

Ben Affleck allegedly “wants Jennifer back,” according to a new report by People, where two sources confirmed that Affleck is looking to get back together with his estranged wife who he separated from in July 2015.

“Ben wants Jennifer back,” a source close to Jennifer Garner admitted to People this week.

Another source confirmed to the site that “Ben wants to get back together” with Jennifer after almost a year apart.

But despite reports that Affleck is looking to win back Jennifer, who he married in 2005, People’s insider confessed that Garner isn’t ready to take back her estranged husband just yet, despite the two being spotted together on a number of occasions in recent months.

“Jennifer is not ready to take Ben back,” the site’s source said of the former couple’s current relationship status. “Ben has never been good alone and isn’t now either. But he is constantly working on himself. He has made big changes.”

Claims that Ben is looking to win back Jennifer almost a year after their separation follows a slew of reports that claimed the two were spotted getting cozy during a recent trip to Paris, France, with their three children, where an onlooker even alleged to the Daily Mail that Affleck and Garner were spotted kissing.

Speaking to the site last week, a Paris onlooker admitted that Ben and Jennifer were enjoying their time with their children in the French capital on May 5 and then “retreated to their luxury hotel,” where the source claimed that they saw Affleck and Garner “apparently kissing in the courtyard bar.”

However, following the report, People claimed at the time that “nothing has changed” in Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship since the former couple announced their separation last year and reported last week that “there’s no sign they’re getting back together” after their alleged kiss.

“They’re still all about putting the kids first,” the source added.

However, it sounds like things may now have changed, on Ben’s part at least, which appears to confirm a previous report by In Touch Weekly that claimed Affleck was hoping to use the family’s time in Europe to win back his wife of 10 years.

“Ben is hoping his summer movie shoot in London will give him the opportunity to convince Jennifer to give their marriage another chance,” a source told the magazine in April, also reporting that it was Garner who was putting a road block in Affleck’s plans to reconcile.

“Jennifer has told Ben flat-out that there is no chance she will take him back,” a source told the magazine last month, admitting that Jennifer believes it’s now “too late” for herself and Ben to get back together.

The Sun first reported that Affleck and Garner would be temporarily moving their children to Europe earlier this year to accommodate with Ben’s busy filming schedule for Justice League: Part One in London, England.

“Ben wants his family close when he’s working, and staying together in a new country will be a great experience, despite himself and Jennifer being no longer a couple,” a source told the newspaper, claiming that the parents have “created a new normal” for their three children that will continue while they’re in Europe.

“Ben and Jennifer are a very strong cohesive unit,” the source said, revealing that Affleck and Garner were planning to continue their strong co-parenting skills while in the British city for the next several weeks.
