Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s Marriage A ‘Ticking Time Bomb’ — Split Could Be Imminent

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage is allegedly a “ticking time bomb” that could explode pretty soon.

Celebrity biographer Ian Halperin made the Kim and Kanye marriage claim in a new interview with Britain’s Heat magazine this week, where he alleged just days before the couple’s second wedding anniversary that Kim and Kanye could be facing a big divorce sooner rather than later.

According to Halperin, Kardashian is reportedly quick to let West take the reins in their marriage, which the celebrity biographer is claiming could be the downfall of their almost two-year union.

“You only have to look at him styling Kim on the red carpet at the Met Gala to see he calls the shots,” Ian told Heat this week. “Kanye is a Svengali figure, he’s in control, but in some ways Kim doesn’t mind.”

But it’s not just West’s supposedly domineering ways that could lead to his and Kardashian’s marriage downfall, as Kanye’s hopes for a third baby are also reportedly causing tension between him and Kim according to the biographer.

In the new Heat interview, Ian admitted that West has been mentioning the two giving daughter North West and son Saint West another sibling in recent weeks, though Kim isn’t exactly sold on the idea and would prefer to keep their family a little smaller and stop at two children.

“I know Kim doesn’t want a third baby right now, but Kanye is used to getting his way,” Ian said of Kardashian and West. “I think no matter what Kanye says, she’s going to do eventually. I think they’ll have a third child soon.”

The biographer then went as far as to stamp a time frame on Kardashian and West’s marriage, claiming that he believes the two, who married in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy, in 2014, may be divorced by the year 2019.

“They do love each other, but in some ways it’s also a marriage of convenience,” he claimed of Kim Kardashian and Kanye Wests’s relationship. “I don’t think the relationship will last more than two or three years. They’re a ticking time bomb.”

Claims that Kim and Kanye’s days as a married couple could be numbered follow a recent report from Radar Online that suggested Kardashian was already “considering” filing for divorce from Kanye.

Radar Online claimed last month that Kim was supposedly weighing up her options regarding a divorce and alleged that the two could potentially split “within weeks” due to reported “constant fighting” between the twosome.

“They have been having a lot problems, financially and more. The fact that they never see each other and there is so much distance, she is considering it and will make her decision in the next few weeks,” an insider close to Kim Kardashian told the site in April.

“[Kim’s] really stressed out over work and finances, with the kids it’s become really overwhelming,” the insider added, noting that Kanye supposedly “doesn’t have a clue” that Kardashian is contemplating filing papers to end their marriage.

Neither Kim Kardashian nor Kanye West have confirmed or denied recent reports that they could be divorcing in the coming months, though Radar Online claimed that, following the birth of the couple’s second child, Kardashian has been doing a lot of thinking about her life and the direction she wants to go in next.

“All the stress with where her career is going and his career and where it’s going, she doesn’t know what directions she has left to go,” the source said of Kim.
