Are Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Ready For A Wedding And A Baby Amid Drama With Blake Shelton?

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have been dating for several months, and according to recent reports, they may be ready to take things to the next level with a wedding and a baby.

Although Miranda Lambert and East haven’t spoken publicly about the future of their romance, a report in February claimed they were already talking about plans for a family.

“They both have discussed wanting kids one day,” a source told E! News at the time. “When they are both not on tour, they are with each other. They video chat or text and keep connected every day. [Miranda Lambert] is definitely in love with Anderson. She is in the best place of her life now and looking forward to the future!”

Months later, a source told In Touch Weekly, via OK! Magazine, that Miranda Lambert and East were planning to wed.

“They’ve been ring shopping!” the insider revealed. “[Miranda Lambert] and Anderson have a crazy-strong connection — an engagement will be coming soon.”

According to the report, Miranda Lambert was excited to get married before her former husband, Blake Shelton, and his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, tied the knot. In fact, the source claimed that despite Miranda Lambert’s current touring schedule, which continues until later this year, she and East were planning for a wedding in early fall and had agreed on a “down-home Southern wedding” in Nashville, Tennessee.

“[Miranda Lambert] is super excited about getting married again,” the magazine’s source explained. “She and Anderson both want the same things in life— a committed relationship, marriage, and children.”

In other Miranda Lambert news, the singer’s ex-husband, Blake Shelton, is preparing for the May 20 release of his new album, If I’m Honest, and during his album release show on Monday night in Los Angeles, he spoke of his tune “I Bet You Still Think About Me.”

“It’s basically what it sounds like,” Shelton explained to E! News on May 10 without mentioning Miranda Lambert by name.

According to Shelton, the song was inspired by a divorce. However, because he was married twice, it’s hard to say whether the song was written about his divorce from Miranda Lambert or his first wife, Kaynette Gern.

“At some point whether you go through a divorce or a breakup or whatever, once you get past the anger and the frustration of it all, you kind of go into the sad part of it where it’s just like, ‘Gosh, how come that didn’t work out?’ And that’s what this song is about,” Shelton explained. “Even though stuff didn’t work out, I bet you miss me a little bit. It’s a sad song.”

As E! News pointed out, Shelton’s message to Miranda Lambert may have been, “I bet you miss me a little bit,” which would certainly be somewhat controversial considering they’ve both moved on from their 4-year marriage.

Miranda Lambert began dating East in late 2015 but didn’t go public with the romance until January when she confirmed her relationship with a cuddly photo of herself and East on Instagram. At the time, news of Shelton and Stefani’s relationship was buzzing online, and the two were even faced with rumors of an engagement and pregnancy, but neither report turned out to be true.

In the months since going public with their romance, Miranda Lambert and East have been seen attending a number of concerts, including a recent Chris Stapleton show in Los Angeles, and they also attended the Academy of Country Music Awards as a couple.
