‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Receives Visitors, Julian Does Something Unexpected, And Port Charles Is Changed

General Hospital May sweeps are already in full effect. Several lives are about to be changed, and not necessarily for the better. Fans have been waiting for Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) to get his memory back, and Monday is going to be the day it begins. Frank Valentini teased that Monday’s General Hospital was a must-see, with a surprising twist. After watching Friday, fans realized nearly everything Monday would be Jason-centric. After a very long wait, “Stone Cold” may return.

There has been some debate among General Hospital fans about which Jason Morgan should emerge when his memory returns. His “Stone Cold” identity was the one that fit with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and the mob business. As a lethal enforcer, Jason was feared by many. On the other hand, General Hospital could use more Quartermaines. If he returns as Jason Quartermaine, this could be a game-changing event. Unfortunately, it appears that the former will happen and Port Charles will see Sonny and his main man back in action once again.

After Monday’s General Hospital, Jason will want to share his experience with Sam (Kelly Monaco). The visions he has and the memories that have returned will have a significant impact on their lives. According to We Love Soaps, Jason will be visited by several images of important people from his life. While he will clearly recognize Sam, Sonny, and Carly (Laura Wright), the fourth is someone fans have been waiting to see back in Port Charles for several weeks. Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) will appear in a vision-like state and walk her friend through some important things. When Jason first returned to Port Charles, Robin visited him in the same state several times. Fans are looking forward to this interaction, especially since Robin will be physically back in Port Charles for the Nurses Ball at the end of the month. Will she be able to bring back the old Jason?

Aside from the very Jason-centric General Hospital episode Monday, the rest of the week will be filled with serious happenings. The accident with Carlos’ (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) transport left fans reeling. He stabbed Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) with a pen, and it looks like he could be in serious danger. While several spoilers have indicated that Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) life hangs in the balance, General Hospital fans are concerned about Dante’s condition. Rumors circulated that Sonny caused the crash, but it appears that was not the case at all. Something big is going to happen, but the question is, how will it affect Port Charles?

The status between Julian (William deVry) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is tense. While she would love to believe her husband, it is almost impossible at this point. Her gut is telling her Julian is into something, but she just can’t pinpoint what it is. Rumor has it that General Hospital fans will witness the Cassadine relic Alexis received from Helena (Constance Towers) being used at the hands of Julian. Will Carlos be the victim, or is someone else in Port Charles going to die? General Hospital fans have mixed feelings regarding the demise of the “Julexis” relationship, especially since many had waited too long for it to actually happen.

May sweeps is just one week in for General Hospital and it is keeping fans enticed. There is so much going on, especially with each “section” of the show. While the Jason storyline is probably one of the more popular ones, the side stories are getting a lot of attention too. After General Hospital won the coveted Outstanding Drama Series Emmy, it isn’t surprising that the stuff is top notch again this year.
