Nicki Minaj Gifts Meek Mill A Diamond-Studded Rolex For His Birthday, Says ‘Birthday Boy Is Happy’
Nicki Minaj is no stranger to showing her love for boyfriend Meek Mill on Instagram, so when it came time to ring in the Philly rapper’s 29th birthday on May 6, Minaj wasted no time in sharing a plethora of fun photos from the celebratory bash to her account on Friday.
According to Rap-Up, Nicki Minaj flew in to Philadelphia to be by Meek Mill’s side in honor of his birthday, joining the likes of Rick Ross and several members of Meek’s Dreamchasers crew for the low-key celebration.
While Meek Mill is currently serving time under house arrest as a result of his probation violation, the rapper appeared to be in good spirits during the duration of the party, often posing for pics with friends, family, and girlfriend Nicki Minaj before sharing them to Instagram on May 7.
Arguably the highlight of Meek Mill’s birthday came from Nicki Minaj who gifted the “All Eyes On You” rapper with a gold diamond-studded Rolex, which she reportedly had custom-made by Joe the Jeweler, Rap-Up reports.

Meek Mill took to Instagram to show off the lavish gift, even posing for a photo alongside Nicki Minaj to show off their matching Rolexes with the caption, “When da whole team rich!”
Similarly, Nicki Minaj took to her own Instagram account to share a close-up photo of Meek’s new bling with the message, “Happy Birthday babyyyyyyyyyyyy. Love uuuuuuuuuu,” alongside several kissing-face emojis. In addition, Minaj then shared a sultry selfie alongside a message to let fans know that Meek Mill was enjoying his birthday festivities, writing, “Birthday boy is happy *smiling emoji*.”
Nicki Minaj also showed off the birthday boy’s “Bike Life”-inspired cake on the social media site; however, noted in the caption of her photo that Meek pushed his son Papi’s face into it before she was able to snag a second photo, “The cake prior to him smashing papi’s face in it *sad emoji*. I’ll post the fire one tmrw.”
The news comes just one month after Nicki Minaj shot down breakup rumors between herself and Meek Mill during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, telling the television host that while Meek has given her two diamond rings since confirming their romance at the end of 2014, they’re still in the beginning stages of their relationship.
“I don’t know. We’re still figuring each other out. And, in fact, I don’t even want to say I’m in a relationship anymore,” Minaj began of her romance with Meek Mill. “I think when people hear that they go to, like, the mean place.”
Minaj clarified her statement by adding, “Well, you know, I used to say, ‘I’m not in a relationship’ even though I was in a 12-year relationship. And then now I feel like just going back to that and saying ‘you know what? I’m single.'”
In addition, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj recently made headlines regarding the “R.I.C.O.” rapper’s ongoing feud with Nicki’s label mate, Drake, who revealed in an interview last week that he and Minaj “don’t really talk” anymore given the nature of his beef with Meek Mill.
“I don’t really talk to Nicki, another person I have a lot of love for,” Drake explained during an interview with Zane Lowe for OVO Sound Radio’s 20th episode. “Despite that, however, she dealt with me how I would expect her to—with class. I always have respect and love for her. Unfortunately, we haven’t spoke.”
