‘Dancing With The Stars’ Spoilers For Week 8: The Judges Take Over And One More Couple Heads Home In Season 22

Another week of performances is on the way for the remaining celebrities on Dancing with the Stars, and spoilers detail that Week 8 will focus around the judges teaming up with the pairs to bring out their best. What is known so far about the dances coming up on the Monday, May 9 show?

As ABC teases, each DWTS judge will work with two of the remaining celebrities to direct their dance styles, songs, and creative direction. Viewers have seen the judges work with the pairs in past seasons, but Dancing with the Stars spoilers point toward this being a more intensive effort than usual. In this case, it sounds as if the pros will have very little say over the pieces their celebrities perform Monday night, and this could set the stage for some stress and tension.

Dancing with the Stars spoilers share that Carrie Ann Inaba will work with Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas along with Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess. Bruno Tonioli gets to focus on Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd as well as on Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe. That means that Len Goodman will focus on Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold as well as on Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy.

As PureDWTS details, Nyle and Peta will be doing the pasodoble to the Panic at the Disco song “Victorious” while Antonio and Sharna get to dance the Viennese waltz to Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain.” Dancing with the Stars spoilers indicate that Paige and Mark are doing the Viennese waltz as well, but they are using Demi Lovato’s “Stone Cold.”

Viewers will see Ginger and Val dance the Argentine tango to the Lady Gaga and Beyonce song “Telephone,” and DWTS spoilers detail that Wanya and Lindsay are doing a jive to Aloe Blacc’s “Can You Do This.” Last but not least, Jodie and Keo are using Christina Aguilera’s “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” for their jive. When it comes to the judging, the two judges not working with a pair will cast their scores, and then Dancing with the Stars viewers become the third judge via voting online. Fans need to go to the network’s website to enter their scores, and they’ll need to act quickly as the scoring window is only open for a couple of minutes as each routine is performed. Then, of course, fans need to vote as usual as well.

One couple will be eliminated at the end of the night, and some DWTS fans wonder if there could be a shocking departure ahead. Von Miller and Kim Fields were eliminated in Week 7, and PureDWTS crunches the numbers for Week 8. Although some fans might assume that Jodie is the one likely to head home, the leaderboard is very, very tight, and this could set the stage for a shocker. Only six couples are still in the hunt for the Dancing with the Stars Mirrorball trophy, and just about everybody did well during their last performances.

In all likelihood, Wanya and Nyle are safe, but everybody else might want to keep their fingers crossed. There certainly are big things that would need to happen in terms of votes cast to send Antonio, Ginger, or Paige home, but the margins show that none of those possibilities is impossible. Bidding farewell to Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe in Week 8 seems likely, but fans will want to tune in to see how it all plays out.
