Is Gwen Stefani Leaving ‘The Voice’ For Good As She Prepares To Embark On Her Upcoming Tour?

Could Gwen Stefani be leaving The Voice after an “explosive fight” on set?

According to a new report, Gwen Stefani, who served as Blake Shelton’s advisor during The Voice Season 10, was recently involved in a dispute with show executives, which allegedly left her wanting to leave the series midway through the currently airing season.

“[Gwen Stefani] is livid that she was not asked to replace Christina on The Voice next season,” a source told Radar Online on May 2. “And because of this she wants to quit the show altogether.”

While Gwen Stefani had been appearing on every other season of the show, she will not be featured during Season 11 as expected. According to the source, she feels Christina Aguilera may be responsible.

“[Gwen Stefani] and Blake seem to feel that Christina was responsible for this because she wanted to piss Gwen off,” the insider added. “And it did!”

Although Radar Online claimed to have insider information regarding the alleged drama on set, a second report debunked the report, claiming Gwen Stefani can’t quit The Voice Season 10 because she isn’t currently on it. While Gwen Stefani did appear as an advisor, the show has since gotten to a new stage and she is no longer featured.

“[Gwen Stefani’s] role as a guest adviser, which was pre-taped, ended with the episodes broadcast in March,” Gossip Cop noted on May 2.

Last month, Gwen Stefani returned to the show briefly, but only as a guest performer.

In addition, claimed the outlet, Gwen Stefani doesn’t feel snubbed by news of Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys joining the show because she simply wouldn’t have been able to appear on the show if she was asked back. As fans have heard, Gwen Stefani will embark on a tour this summer, which will continue through October.

Gwen Stefani released her new album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, in March, and ever since, her new music has been generating tons of buzz, mainly due to the fact that many of her songs were written about her current boyfriend, Blake Shelton, and her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

Gwen Stefani announced news of her tour on Instagram weeks ago, telling fans she would be joined by rapper Eve.

“SO excited for the #ThisIsWhatTheTruthFeelsLikeTOUR w/ @therealeve!!” Gwen Stefani wrote in the caption of a photo.

In other Gwen Stefani news, the singer received the Hero Award during the recent Radio Disney Music Awards show in Los Angeles. As People Magazine reported on May 1, Gwen Stefani’s former co-star on The Voice, Pharrell Williams, presented her with the award, telling fans she “truly has a heart of gold.”

“This is crazy that this is happening to me! I never thought, I mean who am I, that I would ever make a difference?” Gwen Stefani told fans during her acceptance speech. “I am so honored to be here, I am so honored to be making music. I am so blessed to be making music that I can share with you and that I can receive your love back. I am so healed by you!”

For the past several months, Gwen Stefani has ignored rumors regarding her former husband’s alleged affair with their nanny, Mindy Mann. But despite her failure to confirm the shocking news, Gwen Stefani has hinted on multiple occasions that she went through a shocking time in early 2015, months before splitting from Rossdale in August of that year.
