Caitlyn Jenner Uses Trump Tower Bathroom, Praises Donald Trump, Has Some Choice Words Over New Bathroom Law

Caitlyn Jenner used the Trump Tower women's bathroom recently to test if Donald Trump's promise was legitimate. Her success gave her the inspiration to praise the Republican hopeful as one of the biggest celebrities to reveal her transgender status in recent history.

When Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce, had revealed to the world that she was going to finally become the woman she always felt she should be, the world had mixed reactions. Many felt that the former Olympian was betraying her accomplishments and should have her medals taken away. Others praised her decision after she told the world to "call me Caitlyn," with Glamour announcing Caitlyn Jenner as the Woman of the Year, and others giving her awards for her courage.

Now it seems LGBTQ rights have come into a new light. With the Supreme Court having ruled that gay and lesbian couples could be legally married, celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and George Takei praised the decision, having already taken up the offer when California adopted the law.

The fight is only expanding now, as transgender rights have gained an untapped focus. After North Carolina voted against giving transsexuals the right to use the public bathroom corresponding to the gender they choose to present, it became a subject of political debate. Donald Trump made the controversial offer, announcing that if Caitlyn Jenner wanted to use Trump Tower's women's restroom, she could.

Caitlyn Jenner put the Trump Tower invitation to the ultimate test when she needed to "relieve herself," and said she went right in when she saw where she was.

"One little trans woman walking down the street had to go, I looked up and [what] did I see but the Trump Tower. Last week Donald Trump said I could use any bathroom I wanted in the Trump Tower. So of course I veered right in there — took care of myself. I obeyed all the rules, I promise you, I didn't throw any feminine products down the toilet. And it actually worked out quite well. It was very good."
Of course, this wasn't the problem conservatives have been known to have an issue with.

When Donald Trump had made his offer to Caitlyn Jenner for Trump Tower bathrooms, opponent Ted Cruz had a problem with it. He took the usual Republican stance of conservative views, saying that he agrees with North Carolina's decision that people should only use the public restroom in accordance with the gender on their birth certificate.

Caitlyn Jenner has stated that she is a Republican, defying the status quo once more, and is throwing her proverbial hat into the political ring. "On what's happening in North Carolina, they're so off. They need some help. And I'm here to help."

The debate is still heated between the conservative views North Carolina has embraced, and those of people like Donald Trump and Caitlyn Jenner, the latter of whom used Trump Tower by invitation.
