NFL Rumors: Sam Bradford Preventing Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers Trade
NFL rumors are swirling around Sam Bradford. He has let the world know that he is not happy with the Philadelphia Eagles. Bradford wants to find a new home in the National Football League. Eagles executives are publicly stating that they are not interested in moving the former first overall draft pick. However, there are those that believe that they are making calls behind the scenes. According to CBS Sports, Bradford wants to ensure that he is not reunited with San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly.
The marriage between Sam Bradford and Chip Kelly started off so well. The Philadelphia Eagles were looking to upgrade at the quarterback position. They called the Los Angeles Rams, who were not completely sold on Bradford. Kelly had offered them a way out. He also offered them what was once a solid NFL quarterback in Nick Foles. A trade was consummated, and Eagles fans were excited about their new offense.

As for Sam Bradford, it has been a roller coaster ride. The Philadelphia Eagles signed him to a new contract that was worth as much as $35 million. However, it was only for two years. That means that Bradford still needed to prove to the Eagles that he can be a quality quarterback in the NFL. It wasn’t the best scenario, but it was at least a fair chance.

Since he was not pleased with the situation, Sam Bradford has demanded a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. Word went public really fast, which put the franchise in a very difficult position. Bradford was immediately criticized by a lot of analysts, some of whom are former NFL players. They feel that he should just keep his mouth shut and compete for the starting position that he feels he deserves to have.

While no one knows for sure what is going to happen with Sam Bradford, many can agree that things are going to get pretty ugly if the Philadelphia Eagles keep him around. Plenty of teams in the NFL could use a solid quarterback, so it doesn’t need to be this way.
