Chloë Grace Moretz Dating Brooklyn Beckham: Little Mermaid Snuggles With Model After Saying That Dating Is ‘Horrible’
Chloë Grace Moretz isn’t a fan of dating, but The Little Mermaid star isn’t one of those poor unfortunate souls trying and failing to find love. According to recent reports, the 19-year-old actress has found her Prince Charming in 17-year-old Brooklyn Beckham.
Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham made their relationship Instagram-official by sharing a few intimate photos with their fans. Chloë and the model son of Victoria and David Beckham have known each other for a while, and they’ve been spotted spending time together before. However, it appears as though things are more serious than they were back in 2014 when the gossip mill first started churning out rumors about a budding romance between the two famous teens.
InStyle refers to Chloe as Brooklyn’s “high school sweetheart” and suggests that the rumored couple’s recent Instagram photos are evidence of a rekindled romance. In a black and white photo that Brooklyn posted on Sunday, he can be seen with his arm draped over Chloë’s shoulders while she snaps a mirror selfie.
It could be argued that the photo above isn’t romantic in nature, but Brooklyn Beckham followed it up with another snapshot that’s a bit more intimate. In the cuddly photo below, Chloë Grace Moretz rests her head on Brooklyn’s shoulder while he leans towards her. It almost looks like he’s kissing her on the top of the head. However, someone has to be with them snapping the photo, so their sweet moment isn’t as intimate as it initially seems to be.
Chloë Grace Moretz also shared a photo that’s raising eyebrows. It’s a snapshot of two unseen people holding hands, and many of Chloe’s Instagram followers believe that she and Brooklyn Beckham are the couple in the picture. In the photo above, they do appear to be wearing the same bracelets.
In August 2014, Us Weekly reported that Chloe and Brooklyn first met at a SoulCycle in Santa Monica, California. They were introduced by a mutual friend, and they started taking SoulCycle classes together. They also went on a few skateboarding dates.
A month later, Glamour reported that Chloë Grace Moretz was quizzed about Brooklyn Beckham during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. She remained coy about the nature of their relationship, and she admitted that she was shy about putting a label on it.
“That’s a naughty question!” Chloë responded when asked to confirm whether she was dating Brooklyn. “He’s a very good guy and he’s a good person. I enjoy hanging out with him.”
Rumors about the teens’ blossoming romance died down soon after they started, and Brooklyn Beckham eventually began dating a Parisian model named Sonia Ben Ammar. Just last month, the Daily Mail reported that Sonia helped Brooklyn celebrate his 17th birthday at Disneyland in California. Brooklyn reportedly met the model during a family trip to the Maldives at the end of 2014.
It seems as though Sonia is now out of the picture, and Chloë Grace Moretz is likely relieved to have her Brooklyn back because she really hates meeting new guys. During a recent interview with InStyle, Moretz revealed that she dislikes the dating scene because she knows that everyone she meets has “already seen it all.”
“You already know what I look like in a bathing suit,” Chloë said. “You know what I look like in a sex scene. You know what I look like when I say ‘I love you’ to someone. You’ve already seen it all.”
Chloë Grace Moretz described casual dating as “horrible and weird,” and she also discussed the downside of getting serious with a fellow celebrity like Brooklyn Beckham.
“It creates a mass frenzy and they follow you in separate cars so you can’t just run around and share little silly and cute moments.”
