Blake Shelton Reveals Love For ‘Magical’ Gwen Stefani & Plans Romantic Vacation, Proposal, & Babies [Video]

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have become increasingly close since they went from friends on The Voice to lovebirds. And there are wedding bells in their future, according to an insider who told Us Weekly that Shelton is at the point of proposing to Stefani.

“Blake could propose to Gwen very soon,” revealed the source. “Gwen is everything he wants.”

As for Stefani, she recently described herself as “for sure” in love with the country music superstar. There could be more than a wedding in her future, however, according to the insider, who revealed that Shelton appreciates the family life that she and her three boys have given him, so much so that he wants to add to the crew.

“With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda. Her kids love him as much as she does. Blake wants kids of his own. And Gwen is willing to try!”

What’s next for the couple? Shelton wants to celebrate the freedom that Stefani has achieved with the finalization of her divorce from Gavin Rossdale as well as show his deep love and affection for her.

So Blake has decided that taking Gwen on a romantic vacation is the perfect way to show his happiness and fondness for his girlfriend, an insider told Hollywood Life.

“Blake is so happy for Gwen. He’s planning to whisk her away on a romantic getaway once her divorce is finalized. He has been there every step of the way helping and supporting Gwen and wants to celebrate her freedom and the next new exciting chapter in her life,” explained the source.

Shelton now has his own sense of freedom when it comes to proposing to Stefani, described by another source as “everything he wants.” She’s even envisioned her dream wedding, which she wants to take place in the country.

As evidence of just how strong their love has become, Blake revealed that he and Gwen have created a duet together that he’s calling “magical,” noted Extra.

Those who are eager to hear the duet have to wait until May 20, when If I’m Honest, the newest album from Shelton, is released. Shelton and Stefani wrote and recorded the duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” together.

“One of the most magical things,” summed up Blake of the experience with Stefani.

However, Shelton noted that he’s attempting to prevent himself from getting too excited while admitting that he does feel positive about the duet.

“I’m trying not to get too excited about it, I think it is just a great song and I don’t say that about many things that I write,” added Blake.

For those wondering whatever happened to Shelton’s bromance with his buddy Adam Levine, the two coaches on The Voice are still enjoying their banter. Adam revealed that he and his wife are looking forward to their baby girl’s arrival.

“She’s going to break my heart all the time. I’m feeling good about it. I’m ready to be a daddy,” shared Levine.

Blake promptly teased his pal.

“I just can’t believe he is legally allowed to procreate,” joked Shelton.

But while the country singer used his wit to tease Adam about fatherhood, Shelton has taken on the role of daddy to Gwen’s son Apollo, pointed out Hollywood Life.

The 2-year-old recently stayed close to Shelton on a hike, showing just how much the two have bonded.

In talking about his duet with Gwen, Blake also revealed his love for Stefani, sharing just how much she means to him to ET.

“We obviously have this bond that is remarkable together,” he admitted.

And those who assume that Stefani will now regularly write songs with her country music boyfriend could be wrong. Blake also shared that the duet could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“I know that I don’t co-write that much because I’m very insecure about it I guess and [Gwen’s] kind of got her circle of people that she writes with. But for us to reach out to each other as writers, it may never happen again, who knows,” he added.
