‘Real Housewives’ Amber Marchese Defends Husband On Domestic Violence Arrest, Calls It A Misunderstanding

Real Housewives of New Jersey Amber Marchese and her husband James are doing serious damage control after he was arrested after a red eye flight to LAX. Amber Marchese’s husband, James Marchese, was arrested by Los Angeles police for felony domestic violence, but in true form, his wife, Amber, went promptly to the jail and bailed him out. According to both Amber and James Marchese, it is all a big misunderstanding.

While James Marchese is generally considered a jerk by the cast and fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey, he has had a lot of competition in recent years for the title of top jerk of the knuckle-dragging variety, according to the Inquisitr. For some time, Joe Giudice held the title of top jerk on RHONJ, as many of the cast members and general public saw him out with women other than his wife, and one strip club cocktail waitress in particular.

TMZ reported that the problem with James Marchese and his wife, Amber, started even before the Virgin America flight took off en route to Los Angeles. The airline even called ahead to Los Angeles to make sure that the police would be waiting to take James Marchese into custody for violence against his wife.

Staff aboard the Virgin America flight said that James Marchese was grabbing wife Amber by the throat and threatening to harm her. After the flight landed, the LAPD boarded, and took James Marchese off the plane and into custody. The Marcheses were video taped coming out of the police station after Amber Marchese posted bail, and in true James Marchese bragging fashion, he reminded everyone that he went to law school by saying that Virgin Atlantic must want to take care of his children’s scholarship fund, suggesting that he is threatening to sue them (he makes this threat often if you watch RHONJ).

The Daily Mail says that James Marchese insists that the people of Virgin Atlantic obviously can’t tell the difference between violence and romance, because he was putting his best moves on her, and not trying to harm her. Marchese insists that he was involved in some heavy PDA with his wife Amber, and the employees of Virgin Atlantic just misunderstood.

Amber Marchese is defending her husband, James, and says that they were discussing joining the mile-high club, and she was never in any danger. Amber Marchese says the accusations are “false and disgusting” and that husband James Marchese is always a “perfect gentleman,” obviously using the loose interpretation of gentleman.

It is hard to imagine that the staff of Virgin Atlantic could have gotten it so wrong, and saw a woman who was actually having a bit of fun, and instead thought she was in danger, but Amber Marchese is committed to standing by her man.

“Domestic violence is not a joke, and having my husband be accused of such a heinous act is not only hurtful but damaging personally, emotionally and professionally.”

Amber Marchese insists that she would never allow herself to by anybody’s victim.

James Marchese insists that he has no idea what Virgin Atlantic saw and confused with danger or violence, but the bottom line is, he’s going to own that airline after he brings a huge lawsuit.

And Marchese knows a thing or two about lawsuits and investigations, according to Tamara Tattles, which unveiled quite a few stories about the shady past of James Marchese. Before marrying Amber Marchese, James Marchese was living on the west coast, and had just been fired by a cancer drug company for taking kickbacks from physicians.

Marchese responded by going to the government to blow the whistle on the company’s shady dealings, which he outlined. But the joke was on Marchese, who always believes he is the smartest guy in the room, when the Feds figured out that there was funny business, but it had all been masterminded by none other than James Marchese, according to the New York Times, in an article that suggested the “The Whistleblower Finds the Finger Pointing Back.” And the accusations went pretty deep, suggesting that not only had Marchese concocted the scheme, but when he sensed that they were onto him, Marchese destroyed evidence.

“Prosecutors contend Mr. Marchese engineered a complex scheme that misled oncologists and Medicare into believing that Trisenox had been approved for treating cancers other than A.P.L. Mr. Marchese said that if he did anything wrong, it was an innocent mistake.”

The suggestion is that Marchese always brags about his intelligence and business acumen, but them claims if he did something wrong, it was a mistake or a misunderstanding. The Feds were confused, and now, Virgin Atlantic and the LAPD are also confused, and James Marchese is once again trying to get some shakedown money from a big company.

Do you believe that Virgin Atlantic thought that James Marchese was harming RHONJ Amber Marchese?
