Kim Kardashian Behind Bars On New Drop Dead Diva

Is Kim Kardashian behind bars? She is on the new episode of the Lifetime law hit Drop Dead Diva. The reality star, who has a multi-episode arc on the series is playing a character that is in need of some legal counsel.

Following in the footsteps of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicole Richie, Kardashian’s character relationship advice gal Nikki LePree will see herself behind bars. The manipulative Nikki during her last appearance on Drop Dead Diva, convinced Stacy Pakery (April Bowlby) into a cake/pie (AKA “pake”) business partnership, and wound up stealing all of her money before running away. Lapree, who it turns out already had a scamming criminal past lands in jail over too many parking tickets that are in Stacy’s name.

This is the second to last episode of Drop Dead Diva for season 4, and will also feature TV personality Nancy Grace, who will play herself. Hopefully she’ll commentate on the Lapree jail scandal.

In addition to Drop Dead Diva, Kardashian is pretty serious about the whole acting thing. The reality star has hired Nicole Kidman’s acting coach and wound up snagging a part on Tyler Perry’s new film The Marriage Counselor. Executive producer Josh Berman of Drop Dead Diva discussed just how impressed he was with Kardashian’s commitment, saying, “In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I’m blown away by her smarts, sense of humor and passion.”

In the past Kim Kardashian appeared on Tim Allen’s sitcom Last Man Standing last February. Do you think acting is going to be a serious route for Kim’s career?
