Khloe Kardashian Marks Snapchat Debut With Trippy Lamar Odom Video

Khloe Kardashian finally got in on the Snapchat craze, following in the footsteps of sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, all of whom joined the popular social media site weeks ago.

Khloe admitted in her first SnapChat post that the idea of joining the social media site was “scary.” Of course, all it took to alleviate her initial worries is one SnapChat filter that caught her fancy.

“This is so scary. My very first Snapchat,” Kardashian captioned in her first Snapchat post. “But I got a good filter so it’s all good. Hi everybody on Snap.”

The Strong Looks Better Naked author followed up her first post with a video featuring her estranged husband Lamar Odom. The video was nothing short of hilarious, as Khloe used the big-eye filter for the video. Odom’s baldness amped up the hilarity, as the filter made him resemble Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

“I want to have my first co-star on my Snapchat,” Khloe said as Lamar appeared.

“What’s good, homie?” Lamar said.

“That’s it?” she asked.

“That’s it,” Odom replied.

As can be expected from anyone who uses Snapchat for the very first time, Khloe followed it up with two more videos. Yep, Khloe is now an official Snapchat addict now, just like her sisters.

Of course, their little Snapchat date makes one wonder if the estranged couple are on their way to getting back together. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case, as US Weekly recently reported that Khloe is planning to file a divorce for the second time.

A source for US Weekly revealed that while Lamar and Khloe are still trying to work some issues out, the divorce is “going to happen soon.”

“Lamar is doing great,” another source revealed. “He hasn’t been drinking and is doing well. But Khloé is going to file for divorce. She wants to leave him now.”

The feeling isn’t mutual on both sides as the source said that the former NBA player still “loves her and wants to be with her.” That said, the source added that Lamar “also wants to lead a normal life too.”

In that case, it might be in Lamar’s best interests to proceed with the divorce. After his life-threatening ordeal in a Nevada brothel last October, having a little time away from the spotlight should do him a lot of good.

Lamar Odom, 36, and Khloe Kardashian, 31, got married in 2009 after a month of dating. In 2013, Khloe filed for divorce from Odom following rumors of Lamar’s infidelity. In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Kardashian confirmed that Odom was unfaithful throughout their marriage, which eventually lead to their split.

Khloe called off the divorce proceedings shortly after Lamar was found unconscious from a drug overdose at a Nevada brothel in October.

After that, Khloe spent most of her time at Lamar’s bedside, helping him through the recovery process. It took 72 hours before he finally opened his eyes. Still, it was an uphill battle for Lamar, who received all-out support from the rest of the Kardashian family.

Kanye West also revealed that his latest album, The Life of Pablo, became instrumental in Lamar’s recovery.

“I’m thankful that Lamar loved my album,” West said. “We did visit Lamar today, and we played him the new album. And then when I was done I said, ‘Did you like the music?’ and he said, ‘Loved it.'”

In February, Lamar made his first public appearance alongside Khloe at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 Fashion Week Show at Madison Square Garden in New York.

While it’s good that Lamar Odom is well on his way to full recovery, he’s got to feel a little sad about the prospect of Khloe finally leaving him for good.
