NFL Rumors: Dallas Cowboys Drafting Jared Goff

NFL rumors are circulating around Jared Goff. The draft is taking place at the end of April. Teams in the National Football League are scrambling right now to scout the players before making gigantic decisions. The future of their franchise rests in the balance. Every year, the Dallas Cowboys are always under the microscope. Fans always want to know what they’re going to do. According to NFL.com, there is a very good chance that they end up with California Golden Bears quarterback Jared Goff.

By making a big trade with the Tennessee Titans, the Los Angeles Rams shook up the NFL Draft. The belief is that they’re going after a franchise quarterback. Once the trade was made, many in the NFL assumed that the Cleveland Browns would select the remaining quarterback between Jared Goff and Carson Wentz with the second overall pick in the draft. The team might still do that, however, some are starting to believe that they have faith in Robert Griffin III. With the former Washington Redskins star on the roster, the Browns might be willing to take a chance on filling other positions of need.

Some NFL Draft experts believe that the Cleveland Browns might take a flyer on Myles Jack. The former UCLA Bruins star is a high risk, high reward selection. His torn ACL injury is still being dissected by scouts for every team. Jack is considered one of the most versatile players coming into the National Football League. Many view him as a middle linebacker. However, his pass coverage skills has some thinking that he might be able to play safety.

With the third pick in the NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers could be tempted by Jared Goff. Philip Rivers is still one of the better quarterbacks around. However, he is 34 years old. Management might want to find his successor now. That, or they can find an immediate started to capitalize on the time they have left with Rivers. If that’s the case, then the Chargers could go with Florida State Seminoles corner back Jalen Ramsey.

If the Cleveland Browns go with Myles Jack and the San Diego Chargers go with Jalen Ramsey, then the Dallas Cowboys will have a hard decision to make. Team owner Jerry Jones wants to find an immediate starter. However, he also remembers what happened when Tony Romo went down last season. They might not get another chance like this to find their quarterback of the future.

The Dallas Cowboys have so many immediate needs. Most of them are on the defensive side of the ball. A guy like Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end Joey Bosa can help them fix their pass rush. Florida Gators corner back Vernon Hargreaves could become an immediate starter in the secondary. Those guys will be hard for the Cowboys to pass up. Jerry Jones wants to go to the Super Bowl now. He also knows that someone like Jared Goff could be good for business for years to come.

If Jared Goff is still on the board when the Dallas Cowboys make their choice in the NFL Draft, fans are going to be begging for a talented quarterback. Many still have last season fresh on their minds. A lot of them don’t want to see Kellen Moore being forced into action. Goff might be considered a savior of sort to Cowboys fans.
