‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nikki And Victor Look Back On Their Relationship, Hilary Makes A Move, And Max Shakes Up Abby

Things are really heating up on The Young and the Restless, and spoilers tease that Wednesday’s episode is packed with action. Victor Newman is behind bars, but he is angling to change things up and there are hints that big developments are on the way. He has told his family they are dead to him, but he will need to face some emotions related to his family during this April 13 show. What else can viewers expect?

Victor and Nikki have a long history together, but they are in a very difficult place these days when it comes to their relationship. According to spoilers, via SheKnows Soaps, both Newmans will do some reminiscing and dreaming about their love story as it apparently is their anniversary. Victor will be dreaming and when he wakes up, he discovers he is in the infirmary as his stab wound has reopened.

Dr. Meredith Gates, played by Another World star Alicia Coppola, talks to Victor about his situation and notes that he mentioned Nikki in his sleep. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that she will talk about men like Victor who don’t take responsibility for their actions, and she says he is the only one who can piece things together again. Gates may think she has some significant insight for Newman here, but he is said to make a comment referencing that she seems to be running from something herself.

Nikki is also dreaming about her past with her husband, and Jack will wake her up and talk with her about the dream and her decision to drink again. She says that she wants to go see her husband at the prison and she wants Jack’s help in setting it up. He resists, but she talks him into it. When Nikki gets to the prison, Victor will be back in his jail cell, continuing to think back over his romance with his wife and feeling emotional. However, Young and Restless spoilers note that he will refuse to go see Nikki, leaving her in tears as well.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Young and Restless spoilers share that Abby and Max will coordinate a playdate with Lily and Charlie. Max is resistant to the gathering, wanting to be at the lab with Ashley instead. However, Max and Charlie hang out and trouble arises when Max convinces Charlie to pull the fire alarm. Ashley and Neville will be at the lab, figuring out that Abby has been trying to nudge them together. This will set the stage for a rather intense confrontation between Stitch and Neville, as Neville believes that Abby is worried about Ashley and Stitch making their way back to one another.

Viewers will see Abby voicing concerns about Max and her mothering abilities to both Lily and Ashley, and spoilers detail that Ashley downplays Max’s fire alarm stunt when she hears about it. Ash also asks Abby about her efforts to push her toward a romance with Neville, and she insists that there is nothing more than friendship and work to her relationship with Simon.

Hilary has been angling hard for power these days, but Devon has been concerned about how far she has been pushing things. The Young and the Restless teasers detail that he will try to get her away from work for a bit, but things get tense when Ashley catches up to them and insists on getting her old office back. Devon backs her efforts, leaving Hilary furious.

Later, Hilary tracks down Jack and lies about what led to Ashley getting her office back. She makes it sound as if she volunteered the opportunity, and Young and Restless spoilers share that she uses that as a ploy to convince Jack to give her a foundation board seat after all. He agrees, but Soap Central shares that viewers will see this lead to some intense challenges with others very soon.

How far will Victor go to get out of jail and keep Nikki and the rest of his family away from him? Could he soon stage his own death as some Young and Restless spoilers have suggested? As the week continues, viewers will see more regarding the Passkey lawsuit, and things get quite heated between Billy and Jack.
