Insane Clown Posse Plans To Sue FBI To Protect Juggalos

The Insane Clown Posse is getting ready to take the government to court.

The group’s beef with the FBI started last year when the FBI labeled Juggalos (people who are fans of the band) as a gang. The group didn’t like that.

Today at the annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Illinois, the group announced that it was planning to sue the federal government for harassing it’s fans.

Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse said:

“They’re punishing fans for being Juggalos… This is the government’s ways of telling us what you can listen to, what you can wear. We’re not attacking the FBI, but they got this wrong. The Juggalos are not a gang, and that needs to be fixed.”

Shaggy 2 Dope added:

“We are hearing too many stories from our fans about the trouble [being on the FBI list is] causing them. Just because you like a music group, doesn’t make you a criminal.”

Do you think the Insane Clown Posse has a case?

The ICP says that the problem started when the FBI placed the group on the National Gang Threat Assessment list in 2011. At the time, the FBI said that “many Juggalo subsets exhibit gang-like behavior and engage in criminal activity and violence.”

The Insane Clown Posse, obviously, disagrees, saying that it’s unfair of the FBI to place Juggalos on the same list as “such notorious entities as the Aryan Brotherhood, Bloods, Crips and the Latin Kings.”
