Yolanda Foster will be seen opening up about her divorce for the first time on tonight’s season six finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After releasing a joint statement in December 2015 announcing she and husband David were parting ways after four years of marriage, Yolanda Foster moved out of her Malibu, California, home and into a much smaller condo in Los Angeles.
As the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills comes to an end on April 12, fans will see Yolanda Foster meeting with her friend Erika Girardi at her condo, where she is completing the final decorations to her pad. During their conversation, the issue of Yolanda Foster’s Lyme disease and how it may have impacted her marriage is brought up.

While Yolanda Foster told Girardi that she and David were just two normal people, Girardi pointed out that while dealing with the ups and downs of their marriage, the couple was confronted with Yolanda Foster’s “chronic illness.”
Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease just months after marrying David. Due to the crippling side effects of the disease, Yolanda Foster was unable to participate in her normal activities.
“The patient suffers, but the caretakers suffer too. Because life doesn’t only change for us, it changes for the person next to you,” Yolanda Foster said during an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show in March, according to a report by Us Weekly.
“At the end of the day, David never changed, I changed,” she continued. “Unfortunately, these are the cards that life dealt me. It wasn’t by choice. But I’m not the woman I used to be and I probably will never be again. My focus, my energy goes to trying to get well, trying to make a difference, trying to find a cure for my children… and David’s life is really traveling, going to concerts, loud music. And I mean, I couldn’t, I can barely listen to the radio.”

Yolanda Foster and her husband have been separated since late last year, but their divorce has yet to be finalized. Still, there have been reports claiming David has moved on from his marriage to Yolanda Foster with actress Selma Blair. In March, a source told Radar Online that the two enjoyed a dinner date at one of Los Angeles’ hotspots, Craig’s Restaurant, where the alleged couple was seen chatting with Caitlyn Jenner.
As for how Yolanda Foster has been coping with the split, her friend and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Brandi Glanville spoke out on April 12.
“It’s tough. I can’t imagine moving and then also going through a divorce all at the same time,” Glanville told the Daily Dish. “[Going] through one of those things at a time is hard enough. I move so often, it’s so stressful to me, I can’t imagine moving, being sick, and then dealing with a divorce in the public eye. Because I’ve done them all separately, not being sick, but I’ve done the other two separately and it is beyond exhausting and taxing — God, she’s the strongest person I know.”
Meanwhile on Twitter, Yolanda Foster recently shared a message about moving on.
