Sylvester Stallone’s Half Sister In Critical Condition

Sylvester Stallone’s half-sister Toni Ann Filiti is in critical condition at the UCLA hospital, suffering from lung and liver cancer, the New York Post reports.

The 48-year-old has been living with her mother, Jackie Stallone, in Santa Monica as she continued to fight her diseases, but her condition worsened two weeks ago, and she was rushed to the hospital.

Jackie Stallone said,

“After losing my grandson, this has been too much to bear. Toni Ann is not doing well at all. She has lung cancer Stage 4, she has liver cancer, it has spread to her brain.”

She also said that Filiti is conscious and responsive sometimes and that she keeps hoping a miracle will happen. Unfortunately, doctors don’t think Filiti will improve.

The Stallone family is still grieving after the death of Sage Moonblood Stallone, who died on July 13 in his Los Angeles home from a drug overdose. He was 36 years old and the oldest of Sylvester Stallone’s children. He co-starred with his father in Rocky V and Daylight.

The 66-year-old action film star is currently in France with his wife, Jennifer Flavin, and three daughters, 15-year-old Sophia, 14-year-old Sistine and 10-year-old Scarlet. The actor made an appearance at the Paris premiere for The Expendables 2 last night, whose cast has been thinking of the actor since his son’s death.

Co-star and retired MMA fighter Randy Couture said:

“He is the leader of this group, both on-screen and off-screen. And so we miss him here. But we understand. We’re parents. We have kids. We can’t really imagine what he’s going through now. But what do you say? … So we’re giving him space.”

We will be keeping Sylvester Stallone and his family in our thoughts during this difficult time.
