Here’s How Long Spider-Man Is In ‘Captain America: Civil War’

The first screening for Captain America: Civil War was held on Friday night, which means that news regarding the blockbuster is now beginning to leak out, all of which superhero fans are lapping up fervently.

One of the most anticipated aspects of Captain America: Civil War is the debut of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. But audiences weren’t quite sure how much screen time the latest incarnation of Peter Parker would have in the film.

We now have an answer, as those lucky enough to have already watched Captain America: Civil War have not only revealed that Spider-Man steals the show in the hugely anticipated film, but they’ve confirmed just how long he appears in it, too.

And it turns out that the character has quite a lot of screen time in Captain America: Civil War. More than most of you probably expected. But we don’t just get to see Spider-Man in action, we also get to see Peter Parker, too.

This was all confirmed courtesy of Mike Sampson, when the Editor-in-Chief of Screen Crush News took to his Twitter account to discuss the film.

It’s hugely impressive that Marvel was able to find 30 minutes of screen time for Spider-Man considering that they were only able to make an agreement with Sony very late into pre-production on Captain America: Civil War.

There was even more good news for Spider-Man fans too, because those who saw Captain America: Civil War also confirmed that the character arguably steals the film, too.

Obviously, all of this positive news regarding Spider-Man’s debut in Captain America: Civil War means that anticipation will immediately increase tenfold for Tom Holland’s future films as the character.

But while we all knew that Spider-Man would make his debut alongside several members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War, we weren’t that clear about whether the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, or The Hulk would appear in solo Spider-Man films, too.

But now Kevin Feige, the president over at Marvel Studios, has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that will be the case. Kevin Feige has admitted that because Spider-Man ends up helping Iron Man in Civil War, it now means that various heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will appear in Spider-Man’s films.

“He is in the universe now,” Kevin Feige insisted. “And the fun of the universe is that characters go back and forth.” Obviously, Kevin Feige refused to reveal exactly which Marvel stars will appear alongside Spider-Man.

But we’ll find out when the yet be to titled new origin film for the character is released on July 7, 2017. And, oh yeah, Captain America: Civil War will be with us on May 6.
