Odell Beckham Jr. Is Living With Drake: NFL Player Spending Off-Season At Rapper’s House
NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. told Ronda Rousey in a video discussion for Draft Kings that he has been keeping OVO rapper Drake company at his mansion recently.
That’s right: Odell Beckham Jr. is living with Drake while the NFL player enjoys some off-season activities, and while Drake finishes work on his new album, Views from the 6. Drake and Odell have been friends since both played in a celebrity softball game during Houston Appreciation Weekend last year, says Sports Illustrated, and their numerous appearances together on social media confirm that the two are close friends.
So, what does Odell Beckham Jr. do while living with Drake?
“I’m just there working out,” he told Rousey about his stay with Nothing Was The Same artist and producer. “He needs to chill out with that house he has out there. There’s just too much going on.”
Clearly, Beckham has been working out: what is not clear is which of the multiple mansions owned by Drake the popular Giants wide receiver is staying in. Based on this picture, tweeted earlier this week by NFL UK, the location is warm and sunny, picturing Odell Beckham Jr. in a dynamic pose during some kind of backyard sport, shirtless.

Drizzy responded to speculation about what exactly ‘The 6’ is in his tweet about Views back in 2014.

It seems safe to assume that Odell Beckham Jr. was playing shirtless catch in a time and place other than Toronto in April, and Drake is finishing up his long-awaited album in a warmer, sunnier residence. According to Sports Illustrated, Odell Beckham Jr. has been living with Drake for a couple of months – a theory backed up by posts on Instagram of their various bromantic shenanigans.
So what does Odell Beckham mean by his explanation of why he is living at Drizzy’s pad? It is likely that Beckham is referring to Drake’s many creative and social pursuits when he intimated in his conversation with Rousey that his host has ‘too much going on’ and ‘needs to chill out’. XXL Magazine speculates that Odell Beckham may even feature on one of the tracks, having shown his rapping skills in the past. It is more likely, however, that Odell Beckham Jr. is living with Drake because the two enjoy each other’s company.
“That’s my guy right there,” Beckham said of his rap star friend during the Draft Kings interview with Rousey. “Somebody whose mindset is the same as yours, and they want nothing but success, they want to be the best. We just click on a level like that.”
Odell Beckham Jr. is living with Drake full time now, but it is unclear whether he will stay on until the rapper’s fourth album drops – rumored to be at the end of this month – and the date of that release is the subject of much speculation.
