Comingsoon.net shared the “The Flash” Season 2 Episode 18 plot.

“Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zoloman’s painful story on Earth-2 is revealed.”

Here is the synopsis of Season 2 posted together with the video:

“Thanks to Eddie Thawne’s sacrifice, Eodard Thawne has been defeated. But Barry was unable to prove that Thawne killed his mother, so his father remains in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. And a new ally, Jay Garrick, will arrive with news that the Singularity opened portals to an alternate Earth, with a terrifying new enemy named Zoom now on the horizon.”

Based on the plot, this could be the final battle between The Flash and the evil Zoom since the title of Episode 19 is “Back to Normal.” Although its synopsis hasn’t been revealed yet, the title itself is an indication that our lead character will return to his normal life.

According to Movie Pilot, Barry was able to acquire the Speed-Force that will surpass the speed of Zoom even without the serum. There was also a scene showing him holding on to Hunter Zolomon, who is also known as Zoom, in S.T.A.R. Labs.

The Flash Season 2, Episode 19 would seem to be a downtime of sorts for our superhero, but the latest spoilers from Movie Pilot revealed the emergence of another enemy. A meta-human named Griffin Grey will suddenly appear and kidnap Harrison Wells. So who is this new character?

Actually, the supervillain has been around since The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive. According to Comicbook.com via Yahoo Movies, Paul DeMeo and Danny Bilson, who worked on the TV series called The Flash back in the 90s, were the ones who created Griffin Grey. This character will now return in “Back to Normal” to go head to head with the speedy superhero.

Griffin thought that the Harrison Wells of Earth-1 is also the Harrison Wells of Earth-2. The one from Earth-1 was the person who created the meta-humans after exploding the Particle Accelerator. The new villain kidnapped the doctor so he can be cured from being a meta-human.

Since he isn’t the same person that Griffin thought he was, Wells may be in danger if he couldn’t cure him. Before Grey realizes that he isn’t the the person that he was looking for, Barry Allen, together with Jesse Wells, must act fast and rescue him.

The Flash Season 2, Episode 19 entitled “Back to Normal” will air on Tuesday, April 26 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.

Gary Gustin stars as Barry Allen, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Candice Patton as Iris West, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Patton, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West.
