Real Housewives of Atlanta showcased real issues in Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas' marriage. Cynthia appeared to want to work things out with her husband and wasn't quick to jump on the bandwagon that he was cheating on her. Bailey did everything in her power to try to make things work, but in the end, it just wasn't going to work, no matter how badly they both wanted it. Cynthia announced on The Wendy Williams Show, according to BET, that she was taking steps to end her marriage to Peter. Bailey disclosed that she would file for divorce officially within the next week or so.

BET reported that Cynthia ended the speculation that circulated her marriage -- when would she admit there was real trouble and would they be able to work it out? Apparently, the jig is up and Bailey has decided to end her marriage. It didn't come as a huge surprise exactly; however, it was only a few weeks ago that Cynthia owned on the RHOA reunion show that she wanted to work on her marriage because she wasn't ready to walk away yet. So what happened, and why the sudden change of heart?

"I really don't know where Peter's head is at right now. I don't know where we are in this marriage. We have a lot of real issues that we're dealing with. But you know it's just another thing we put on the list.I have been taking some time for myself to just kind of figure out how I would like to move forward. We are definitely talking about taking steps to officially move forward in a different direction."
