Miley Cyrus & Adam Levine Fight On ‘The Voice:’ Christina Aguilera Fired Amid Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Feud?

Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine are turning The Voice into an ongoing battle round, because when Miley gets together with Adam in her role as key adviser on the show, Cyrus and Levine constantly fight, a source told Us Weekly.

“[Miley] totally butted heads [with Adam],” revealed that insider.

As for the reason, Cyrus and Levine reportedly suffer from limited attention spans, and that causes ongoing frustration when they try to work together. In addition, after Miley discovered that interrupting Adam upset him, Cyrus proceeded to be rude more often because of the pleasure she obtained from seeing him erupt, claimed the source.

“They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

Regarding how far this war will play out next season, be prepared to see those coach chairs get even hotter. Cyrus is scheduled to take on the role of coach for the upcoming season of The Voice, along with Alicia Keys. Also returning are Blake Shelton and his bromance buddy Levine.

In addition to working with Levine this season, Miley has been interacting with the other coaches. However, when it comes to Shelton, Cyrus has no problems.

“Blake and Miley got along extremely well!” added the insider.

While Shelton and Adam will join Cyrus and Keys next season, both Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera are off the show. Christina had replaced Gwen Stefani as coach this season, but Gwen appeared on The Voice in a new role as Blake’s mentor professionally (and girlfriend personally).

What happened to cause such an unprecedented shakeup on The Voice, with two female coaches for the first time in the history of the singing competition?

Producers have two reasons for the dramatic change on The Voice, according to Hollywood Life‘s insider.

“She is a female and producers wanted a fair panel with a second woman alongside Miley Cyrus so there would be two men and two women coaches. They want to increase the odds for the first woman coach win.”

In addition, the show’s producers want to cover a range of musical genres in the coaching panel. Because Alicia represents an “R&B background,” she provides a contrast to Cyrus, Shelton and Levine.

“With Pharrell gone, Alicia appeals to the soulful audience nicely,” added the insider.

But do other reasons exist that two coaches are leaving the show at the same time, as some fans ask why The Voice booted Christina if the show wanted to have more female coaches? Rumors are swirling that Aguilera was fired after feuding with Shelton and Stefani, notes the Hollywood Gossip.

Christina was supposedly in the role of thieving diva, who took away the chair that rightfully belonged to Gwen, leaving Blake so irate that he threatened he would leave.

In addition, Aguilera is allegedly feuding with Shelton and Stefani over a reported deal that the lovebirds have been offered to pump up the PDA on The Voice, according to Radar Online‘s insider.

Christina has reportedly been staging a “meltdown” because of the deal producers gave to the country music superstar and his girlfriend, claims the insider.

“Blake and Gwen are getting an interesting offer from the show’s exec. Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season when she is a mentor on Team Blake, and they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc.”

When Aguilera heard about the arrangement that would give the lovebirds more money, there was nothing friendly about her response.

“Christina is furious!” claimed the insider.

Aguilera allegedly did what she could to boot Stefani from her position as mentor.

“Christina wants Gwen out of the picture and is already throwing mini-tantrums about it,” added the source.

Did those alleged tantrums take so much energy for producers to control that they had no choice but to show Aguilera the exit door from The Voice? And will Miley manage to get along with Adam or make him even more annoyed? The Voice drama rounds continue.
