2016 ACM Awards: Who’s Performing? Who’s Presenting? — Everything You Need To Know


The 2016 ACM Awards will be taking over Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena tomorrow night. Here’s everything you need to know about country music’s huge night.

When is it?
The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards will take place on April 3, 2016.

How and where can I watch?
The 2016 ACM Awards are set to air live from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 3, 2016 at 8 p.m ET/Delayed PT.

ACM also recently announced that the 2016 ACM awards will be livestreaming ACM Awards Backstage Live on CBS.com and ACMawards.com, which will allow fans to watch the big red carpet arrivals in real time. The stream will also continue on into the CBS telecast, giving country fans a real-time look backstage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena by running online simultaneously with the awards show on the same platforms.

Who’s hosting?
Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will be hosting the 2016 ACM Awards, and it sounds like they’ve already got a few tricks up their sleeves. “I think everyone knows Luke is the guy you call when you want to have a good time,” Dierks recently said of Bryan in a statement, “If we have half as much fun hosting together as we do backstage, it’s going to be a great night.”

Who’s performing?
There’s a long list of performers for this year’s ACM Awards, which boasts some of the biggest names in country music.

Acts currently scheduled to perform on the big awards show tomorrow night include, Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Cam, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw, and Cole Swindell.

The ACM Awards will also feature a number of huge duets from country and pop artists, which will see Dolly Parton take to the stage with Katy Perry and Kelsea Ballerini perform with Nick Jonas. Chris Young and Cassadee Pope will also perform together, while Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban are set to take the stage with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.

Who’s presenting?
Not only do the 2016 ACM Awards have a strong list of performers, but there’s also an impressive list of names set to present awards to the big winners on the night.

The ACM Awards revealed this week that Tom Hiddleston, Kacey Musgraves, Miss America Betty Cantrell, Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, Martina McBride, Von Miller, Kip Moore, Nancy O’Dell, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Darius Rucker, Kiefer Sutherland, Cole Swindell, and Maddie & Tae will all present at the big show. Garth Brooks is also expected to present an award via satellite link up.

Who else will be there?
Among the lengthy list of performers and presenters, a number of other country stars are currently scheduled to attend the 2016 ACM Awards on April 3.

Expected to attend the awards show are Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Lauren Alaina, Frankie Ballard, Maren Morris, Kelleigh Bannen, Jessie James Decker and husband Eric Decker, Chuck Wicks, Lee Brice, Kane Brown, The Swon Brothers, Chase Bryant, Brandy Clark, Dave Cobb, Courtney Cole, Easton Corbin, Clare Dunn, Brooke Eden, Lindsay Ell, Mickey Guyton, Randy Houser, Shane McAnally, Lori McKenna, David Nail, Jon Pardi, Eric Paslay, Canaan Smith, Granger Smith, Renée Felice Smith, RaeLynn, Michael Ray, Clay Walker, A Thousand Horses, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Eli Young Band, and Parmalee.

Chrisley Knows Best stars Julie Chrisley and Todd Chrisley are also expected to attend the big ACM Awards show.
