Kylie Jenner’s Gloss Sells Out Within First 10 Minutes On Site [Video]

Kylie Jenner’s gloss released to the public on April 1, and it wasn’t even 10 minutes before the product was completely sold out. Talk about supply and demand.

Kylie Jenner took to Snapchat shortly after her gloss launch in order to give in-the-moment updates for her buyers.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, Kylie advertised her gloss lineup extensively via her music video as well as with a debut party. So, as with Jenner’s other product launches, her followers were metaphorically beating down the door with their money out.

Kylie Jenner’s gloss swatches are half the price of her lipstick kits. Instead of $29, Kylie’s gloss kits cost $15. So, with that in mind, her kits possibly sold out twice as fast. According to Hollywood Life, she made the announcement to her Instagram followers around 2:15 p.m., on April 1. One by one, Kylie Jenner’s gloss swatches closed out. First, Jenner’s “So Cute” sold out.

Then, it was “Literally.”

Lastly, “Like” left the digital shelves.

Via Kylie Jenner’s Twitter, she addressed her followers and thanked them for their continued support. Jenner mentioned that her supporters amaze her everyday. This might come as no surprise though. Kylie Jenner’s fan base is quite loyal and dedicated to her many endeavors.

As stated in the aforementioned Inquisitr report, Jenner makes a point of empathizing and relating to her millions of followers. It’s possibly why Kylie has not raised the price of her products but — by the look of her recent gloss launch — has actually lowered the price and made her products even more affordable.

While Kylie Jenner recently encountered a fan who was a bit more aggressive than Kylizzle allowed, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love her fans. Via Twitter, Kylie actually explained that situation.

For the most part, Kylie couldn’t see because of all the flashing lights from cameras and paparazzi. If you’ve seen Kylie out and about, you know she’s telling the truth. Her security is minimal — if she has any at all.

Nonetheless, Kylie Jenner states that giving her followers quality products is quintessential. And for that reason, Jenner told her customers that she’ll be back next week with matte colors. Via Facebook, one fan — Vanessa Flores — stated: “Omg seriously. When she barely posted this I went straight to it and tried to purchase and boom! Sold out smh.”

Mostly, Kylie Jenner’s fans mention that she should offer her products to more networks around the world. That way, they won’t sell out. But possibly, Kylie already knows of this method, but then, that wouldn’t keep the supply and demand ratio as it is, currently. If Kylie’s supply is always available, the demand will soon dwindle.

However, since Kylie Jenner’s products are about as scarce as the “Hot Doughnuts” sign at Krispy Kreme, the demand exponentially builds. If Krispy Kreme offered hot doughnuts all day long, there would be no rush — no expedience — to obtain the product.

Another commentator, Donna L. Thompson, mentioned the following.

“Girl you tried it with this last stunt with these glosses! If all of the times for the restocking of the lipsticks were posted, why wouldn’t you post the time for the glosses??? Everyone doesn’t have time to sit on the internet all day long waiting to see when you’ll release something. Some of us DO have lives!”

However, as it seems, she — along with hundreds of thousands accompanied — stayed online until the Jenner’s launch happened. Some of Kylie Jenner’s customers also stated that all avenues were congested. Similar to when Kylie “broke Google,” customers mentioned that they weren’t able to get through to the product. Yet, when they finally did, all of Kylie Jenner’s gloss products were sold out.

Nevertheless, Kylie Jenner expressed that her plan is to release another batch of lipstick kits next week. There’s no doubt that Kylie’s product line is popular enough to maintain demand, even if supply became unavailable for an extended period of time. Yet, fortunately for Jenner’s customers, that’s not the case at the moment.
