‘Grand Theft Auto V’: Rockstar Teases New DLC Vehicle Coming To ‘GTA Online’ In A Free Update Next Week

After giving players the ability to create their own custom hydraulic-powered vehicles in Grand Theft Auto V thanks to the release of the Lowriders Update last October, Rockstar Games has continued to improve on the services offered at the game’s newest garage.

When Benny’s Original Motor Works was first added to GTA Online, the shop was only capable of modifying a total of six different vehicles. However, Rockstar Games has since expanded the number of cars that customized at the new lowriders garage to more than double the amount of vehicles that Benny’s accepts.

Further opening up Benny’s Original Motor Works to include more cars, Rockstar Games surprised fans on Thursday by offering a glimpse at a new DLC vehicle that will be heading to Grand Theft Auto Online next week as part of yet another unannounced free update. The developer teased the upcoming launch of the Declasse Tornado Custom on Twitter, revealing that it will be added to GTA V next Tuesday.

While fans can currently purchase a default Declasse Tornado in Grand Theft Auto V, the custom version of the vintage car benefit from the additional customization options provided at Benny’s Original Motor Works. This includes new paint jobs, upgraded stereo options, hydraulics, and the choice of several bobblehead figures for the dashboard.

The developer hasn’t given any additional details about what might be included in the upcoming GTA Online update other than the release of the Declasse Tornado Classic. Based on previously launched content patches, however, fans should see a few other new features and possible bug fixes or server improvements.

Next week’s update will be the second GTA Online patch to expand on Benny’s lowriders garage in as many weeks. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Rockstar Games also added several new cars to the shop’s limited list of accepted vehicles in March with the Lowriders: Custom Classics DLC. The game’s most recent update gave users the ability to make their own lowrider versions of the Vapid Slamvan, Custom Donk, and the new Dundreary Virgo Classic.

In addition to preparing new content for Grand Theft Auto Online, Rockstar Games has also been working on a few fixes for some bugs that fans have recently encountered while trying to make their own custom jobs with GTA V‘s in-game mission creation tools.

On their official support website, the developer notified players that they have temporarily reduced the number of props that can be placed in crafted missions due to a newly discovered bug. Rockstar Games hopes to deploy a more permanent solution to the problem with an upcoming patch that would bring back the ability to stack more decoration props.

“An issue was discovered where if many props were placed too close together, they could create a map hole. Due to this, the ability to place large numbers of props close together was disabled. This is a purely temporary solution and we are currently looking into a fix for this for a future Title Update which would restore the ability to place many props close together.”

Another support notice also discussed the smaller descriptions that fans have had to work with following the release of the Lowriders: Custom Classics DLC. After the launch of GTA Online‘s latest update, users discovered that they now have far fewer characters available to write a description for their custom missions. Rockstar Games has confirmed that this was an unintentional bug and expects to raise the character count soon.

“An issue was discovered after the launch of the Lowriders: Custom Classics Title Update where the text limit within the Creator for Job Descriptions had been reduced from 500 characters to 100 characters. This was an unintended change and we are currently looking into a fix to be included in a future Title Update.”

As evidenced by the past few updates that have been released for Grand Theft Auto V, players should expect to see more lowrider vehicles added to the game in the future.
