Bella Thorne Smoking Weed? Former Disney Star Sparks Controversy On Snapchat

Bella Thorne is literally sparking controversy on social media. The former Shake It Up Star was caught smoking what looks like weed on her Snapchat account.

Fans were shocked when Bella Thorne shared a clip of herself smoking a hand-rolled joint. She’s not one to advocate the use of marijuana on her social media accounts. The 18-year-old probably didn’t expect her own fans to save the video and release it onto other video sharing sites, but they did. According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Thorne’s video was originally meant for her friend’s eyes only, but it ended up going viral on social media.

“I saw this going around Twitter, I don’t know if it’s real but I love a good scandal anyways,” one fan remarked on the OneHallyU forums. Other fans commented on the video, saying that it’s not surprising that Bella smokes weed since it is common among fellow Disney stars such as Miley Cyrus. Meanwhile, other fans commented on Bella’s striking looks instead of her shocking smoking skills.

According to Oh No They Didn’t, some fans believe that Bella Thorne is smoking a hand rolled cigar for an upcoming TV or movie role. The video was first released on Twitter and Reddit, and then was uploaded to YouTube and VidMe. Check out the video for yourself below.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that Bella Thorne has been caught smoking weed. When she attended the 2014 Coachella Music and Arts Festival in California with former boyfriend, Tristan Klier, she was caught smoking what appears to be a “peace pipe.” Thorne was dressed up for the outing in actual hippie attire, complete with a fringe halter and a flower crown.

According to Stupid Celebrities Gossip, Bella Thorne was photographed “smoking weed from a red, jeweled pipe.” The then-16-year-old actress and singer shared photos and videos of herself with Tristan having fun at Coachella. She posted the following Instagram video of them goofing off while listening to the music playing.

Thorne also shared this video of herself twirling around with Coachella’s trademark Ferris wheel lit up in the background.

These aren’t the only photos that were published around that time. According to the Hollywood Rooster, Bella Thorne was seen partaking in some marijuana when she was surrounded by a group of friends during the weekend-long event. In one of the photos published on the slideshow, Bella is seen holding what appears to the be the pipe that Stupid Celebrities Gossip was describing.

The reason why the photos of Bella Thorne allegedly smoking at Coachella weren’t shared to big named media outlets was because the photos were supposed to be removed at the request of her reps. It should also be known that she was underage at the time, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the same thing happened with Thorne’s latest smoking scandal.

She wasn’t the only Disney starlet who was caught smoking up at storm at Coachella that year. Sources told the Hollywood Life that fellow actress and singer Selena Gomez was caught smoking and flirting with Justin Bieber.

“The pop star has never been spotted publicly smoking before so this comes as quite the surprise. However, in January she was spotted in L.A. purchasing a pack of cigarettes from a gas station, the day after boyfriend Justin Bieber was arrested for his DUI. Could she be stressed that he’s not there?”

However, it is hard to tell if Selena is smoking or not in the photo here. But she has been seen sharing a cigarette with Orlando Bloom after Chelsea Handler’s show later in 2014.

Bella Thorne has not responded to her smoking controversy, but she did show off something new and edgy. The entertainer took to Instagram to show off her new shoulder tattoo, which features a heart.

“Love my little baby tat ? follow @winter_stone to see the coolest tats!!! #heart #love #acceptance #happiness #thankfulthursday #mini #tattoo #springbreak2016,” she wrote in the caption.
