‘The 100’ Season 3, Episode 9 WonderCon Preview: Major Character Dies – New Commander Revealed – Octavia’s Decision To Have Consequences

The 100 season 3, episode 9 is titled “Stealing Fire.” Currently, The CW post-apocalyptic series is on hiatus, but is due to return on March 31. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the promo for “Stealing Fire” was released. Today, more information was revealed about what fans can expect from Clarke, Bellamy, Kane, Pike, Octavia and the rest of the characters following Lexa’s death on The 100.

At WonderCon, a panel for the upcoming episode was shown. Another major character will die and the killer is someone they trusted. Also, the new commander of the Grounders is revealed, and will Octavia’s decision have consequences?

The synopsis for The 100 season 3, episode 9 has finally been published. Until recently, the description of “Stealing Fire” was kept under wraps. Now, fans may have a better idea of what is going to happen with the Sky People and the Grounders.

“Clarke (Eliza Taylor) discovers a shocking truth, and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is forced to make a decision that could have devastating consequences,” Spoiler TV‘s synopsis of The 100 teased. “Meanwhile, Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) and Abby (Paige Turco) share a moment.”

A Periscope user named Caroline Belle recorded the first 13 minutes of “Stealing Fire” while attending WonderCon. The sound is a bit hollow and the video’s quality isn’t great, but some major spoilers were revealed.

As “Clexa” fans know, Clarke is devastated over Lexa’s death but is determined to save the Sky People. She is nearly attacked by Ontari (Rhiannon Fish), but is saved. Prince Roan (Zach McGowan) reminds Ontari that he is the king.

As for Lincoln (Ricky Whittle), he and Kane are still imprisoned by Pike (Michael Beach). Lincoln tries to convince Pike to let the others go and Bellamy (Bob Morley) backs Lincoln up on this one. The new leader of Arkadia once again issues a death sentence. Kane, Lincoln and Sinclair (Alessandro Juliani) must pay for the crimes against leadership with their lives. The execution is planned for dawn, Pike announces.

Here is a major spoiler for The 100 season 3, episode 9. In “Stealing Fire,” Bellamy and Octavia meet in the woods once darkness falls. He claims to want to help, but his words come too late. Octavia walks up to her brother and stabs him right in the neck. That’s right, Bellamy dies in The 100 and Octavia is the one responsible. However, the synopsis teases that the act may have “devastating consequences.”

As for who will be the new commander of the Grounders in The 100, that will be Ontari. The new leader will be chosen by combat and when the victory horn is blown, everyone is shocked. Ontari is sitting in Lexa’s throne and apparently was holding someone’s head. The video wasn’t recorded in landscape, so it’s hard to tell exactly whose head it is. However, the crowd all gasped and a few sounds of “gross” and “disgusting” were heard.

As fans remember, Ontari was Queen Nia’s (Brenda Strong) right-hand woman. The fact that Ontari is now the new commander is not good news for Clarke or the Sky People. She attacked Clarke and blamed her for killing Lexa. However, it was Lexa who murdered Queen Nia instead of Prince Roan. By the look on Ontari’s face, she is out for revenge and everyone better watch out.

When it comes to Octavia killing Bellamy, it will be interesting to see what consequences she will face. Does this have to do more with consequences for Octavia or for the Sky People in general? With Ontari as the new commander of the Grounders, how will Clarke save the Sky People? How will Arkadia survive Ontari’s leadership and inside the walls of Arkadia, how will the Sky People survive Pike’s dictatorship?
