Trump Easter Surprise: Ivanka Trump Welcomes Baby Boy Just Hours After Easter Brunch With Husband
Donald Trump had a really special Easter surprise while on his brief 10-day campaign hiatus. Ivanka Trump took to Instagram to announce the birth of her third child, son Theodore James. The doting mother gave birth just hours after being filmed walking to Easter brunch with her husband Jared Kushner. Ivanka appeared in good spirits as the pair strolled down the street, but just hours later, Ivanka would take to Instagram to announce the birth of their son Theodore.
Ivanka Trump sailed smoothly through her third labor as she went from Easter brunch to the delivery room. The Daily Mail reports that Ivanka was spotted this morning with her husband Jared headed to Easter Brunch in Manhattan. The pair strolled casually down the street with smiling Ivanka showing no signs of impending labor. The heavily pregnant Ivanka appeared to be laughing with her husband as the walked down the NYC streets towards their brunch location with her bump visible.
The pair went to Easter brunch and on a brisk walk in New York City just hours before Ivanka made the birth announcement on Instagram. According to Ivanka’s public birth announcement, baby Theodore James was born at 5:43 p.m. on Easter Sunday.
“Jared and I feel incredibly blessed to announce the arrival of Theodore James Kushner. Jared, Arabella, Joseph and I are so excited to welcome this sweet little boy in to our family!”
After making the birth announcement, Ivanka also shared the family’s first photo of baby Theodore in Ivanka’s arms as both mother and baby appear healthy.
Though Ivanka’s birth of son Theodore seems to have gone smoothly, things aren’t going as smoothly for grandpa Donald Trump. While Ivanka celebrates in the hospital, Trump has been spending some time on Twitter decrying the Easter Pakistan attacks, noting he is the only one who can solve the problem while continuing to battle via words with Ted Cruz over the affair scandal.

Ted Cruz has accused Donald Trump of attacking his wife Heidi and pushing the National Enquirer affair story. Cruz says “for Donald J. Trump to enlist his friends at the National Enquirer and his political henchmen to do his bidding shows you that there is no low Donald won’t go.”
“These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack. Donald Trump’s consistently disgraceful behavior is beneath the office we are seeking and we are not going to follow.”
However, Trump has been adamant that he had nothing to do with the story or its publication.

So what does Trump’s daughter Ivanka have to say about her father’s controversial stances? Ivanka has been a supporter of her father’s campaign since the beginning but says that this is “his campaign” and that she doesn’t feel it is her role to challenge him on controversial issues.
“In a political capacity, I don’t [disagree with him]. It’s his campaign. I don’t feel that’s my role. But I would challenge him as a child. That’s what children do. [My daughter] Arabella challenges me every day.”
