Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Jump On Stage At ‘The Lion King’ Performance And Play With Props

Ben Higgins and his new fiancée, Lauren Bushnell, are already planning babies after going on just two public dates, according to Us Magazine. Ben and Lauren may have become an item days ago, but it doesn’t mean they can’t plan three babies!

On Monday’s finale of The Bachelor, Ben Higgins finally made his choice and asked contestant Lauren to marry him. Lauren didn’t even have to think twice, immediately answering “yes.” After the show, Ben and Lauren appeared on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, where the new couple discussed their marriage plans.

The lovebirds said that they first needed to get to know each other better before getting married. And that’s reasonable since Lauren couldn’t even recall Ben Higgin’s mother’s maiden name during their recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show.

Ben Higgins and Lauren, whose first kiss on the finale of The Bachelor lasted 13 seconds, went on their first public date last Wednesday night, according to ET Online. Lauren even took to Instagram to let her and Ben’s fans know that they are going on their first date and wrote in the caption that there were “many more to come.”

In that Instagram photo, Lauren boasted her huge $100,000 Neil Lane ring, while Ben Higgins showed off his MudLove Get Hope bracelet. The photo also features two glasses half-full of champagne and a bottle of champagne.

For their first public date, the lovebirds opted for the French and Italian bistro Landmarc located in New York City’s Columbus Circle. Marc Murphy, the owner of the bistro, revealed in an interview that Ben Higgins and his new fiancé looked “very much in love” while enjoying their first date at a “little private table in the corner.”

On Wednesday, Lauren shared an Instagram photo in which the two are photographed making funny faces in front of the camera. On the photo, Lauren is sitting on Ben Higgins’ lap wearing a stunning red lace dress, while the 27-year-old Bachelor is holding his girl close, wearing a grey jacket and a blue shirt.

Apart from champagne, which could be seen on Lauren’s Instagram photo, the lovebirds also ordered red wine, a multi-course meal and a candlelight to make their first date as memorable as possible.

According to the owner of Landmarc, Ben Higgins and Lauren ordered a roast pepper soup and a bowl of chopped salad. Then the two were enjoying the lamb chops, “which they kept raving about.”

For dessert, Ben Higgins and Lauren received “five mini treats” from Mr. Murphy. The owner of the bistro also said that the couple left around 11 p.m., adding that they were “extremely nice and down-to-earth people.”

The next day, Ben Higgins and Lauren had more fun for their second public date, as the two stood on the stage at the Minskoff Theatre, according to Just Jared. They weren’t performing or anything. The lovebirds just thought it would be cool to be photographed on the stage after a performance of The Lion King.

And it appears that Lauren, 25, is already preparing herself for motherhood, as said by Ben Higgins in one of his Instagram photos. According to Us Magazine, Higgins posted an Instagram photo of his new fiancé holding the baby Simba prop on the stage at the Minskoff Theatre in New York City.

Ben Higgins joked in the caption that his new fiancé is “practicing parenting” as Lauren recreates the scene from The Lion King, in which baboon Rafiki holds lion cub Simba up.
