Nicki Minaj Says Meek Mill Calls Her ‘Fiancée’

Nicki Minaj has insisted she and Meek Mill are not engaged. Meek Mill, the singer’s boyfriend, denied he had popped the question, E! Online reported.

Mill told Fader last year, “It ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”

And it’s not just Mill who issued a statement saying Minaj and he are not engaged, Minaj had gone on to say that she wasn’t interested in getting married. In NYLON’s April issue, Minaj insists that they are not engaged — at least not yet. Instead, they are taking it one step at a time. She also gushed that Mill calls her “fiancée” sometimes. Wow! If that doesn’t indicate love between the two, then what does?

“He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fiancée, and I’m always trying to stop him, like, ‘Nope! I ain’t got that third ring yet!’ We’re just taking it one step at a time,” she told the magazine.

She says she can’t wait to get married and have a kid because “that will be fun.” She says she can’t wait to hold her baby.

“And, you know, if that happens, if I get married, then I’ll have a child, and that’ll be fun, because I can’t wait to hold my baby.”

Well, it’s good to know that she is excited to be a mother, whenever that happens.

It seems that Nicki Minaj is sure Meek Mill is the one guy she has been waiting for all her life. She goes on to say that Mill often told her that she reminded him of her mother because she was like a “dude.” She goes on to say that it made her realize Meek liked bossy women.

“When he and I were just friends, he would always say, ‘You remind me of my mother, and I like that because you’re like a dude. You’re tough like a guy and you talk like a dude.’ So, I always got the sense that me being tough and bossy was a turn-on for him. And it’s important for me to keep my voice. Being in a relationship shouldn’t mean that you lose your voice,” she explained. “Being in a relationship should mean that you’ve met a secure-enough man to allow you, in a sense, to remain a queen.”

The rumors of Nicki’s breakup with Meek Mill were rife when Mill was put under house arrest for violating probation, TMZ had reported. The news was that Nicki would not be going to live in Philadelphia with her beau. However, in her own style, Nicki made sure that she denounced the rumors.

She tweeted, “S/o to these fake stories ~ who’s ready for the show tomorrow?”

Well, if there is one lady who knows what she is doing, it’s certainly her!

However, it’s true that Nicki was pretty excited about the rings Meek gifted her.

It was hard not to read into the picture.

She captioned it, “Now this is what I’m talking about baby. Lol. Love u???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? @meekmill ~ RANG finga whr da rock iiizzzzzzz.”

A magazine even went on to say that this is Nicki’s way of giving hints to Meek that she wanted to get engaged.

“Nicki is giving Meek a huge hint with the diamond ring and wants him to pop the question this year. She wants to be married in 2016 but she isn’t engaged yet!” a source told Hollywood Life. “He is well aware of the hints and will be getting the job done soon.”

Billboard asked her about the ring on her finger last year.

Minaj said, “Yeah. Meek gave me that.”

However, Nicki denied they were engaged.

“He and I are not engaged,” Nicki Minaj replied.
